Convenient, great price!

I like to make a sun tea medley for my husband. A couple of these pau d'arco, a couple green tea bags and a couple wild berry. He gets a healthy and tasty drink at the same time.

Multiple uses!

I got this for a specific experiment, ovulation pain. However, I have used it for several other pains that have occurred. With ginger for abdominal spasms, and for aching muscles combined with mullein tea (internally as well as externally) after digging post holes!

Crunchy Good!

While these aren't as flavorful as chips, they do satisfy my salty/crunchy cravings. Adding raisins gives it a whole new flavor/texture sensation. I will order these again.

Bitter!

Posted on Jul 10, 2008

2 people found the following review helpful

My ND prescribed this as a digestive tonic to help get more nutrients out of my food. It's too soon to tell how well it is working, but I am getting used to the taste/sensation. I started out having to mix with water, but can now take it straight. The taste was familiar...the same bitterness of grapefruit peelings. The bottle is almost gone, time to reorder!

Easy Sprouts!

Posted on Apr 29, 2008

The sproutpeople.com website say amaranth doesn't even need soaking. Just moisten and sprout. But I found I had to soak for an hour because these tiny seeds would fall right through the holes in my mesh strainer! They were ready to enjoy in just 12 hours! Tasty! Easy! Nutritious!

I used this with a regular bath puff and it lathered incredibly well! And the scent is plesant, not overpowering like many soaps out there. It left my skin feeling squeaky clean. Great price too!

Taken Daily...

This has become part of my daily regimen. I am on a ketogenic diet (80% fat) and this helps me utilize the fat as an energy source. (And yes, I am doing this diet under a doctor's care!)

Good tea, great price!

I like to take a chai tea bag and one of these burdock teabags and make my morning tea complete with ground cacao nibs, and a tablespoon of butter. Burdock has a "peppery" flavor to it. It blends well with a chai flavor.

Big Bottle!

Posted on Jul 10, 2008

1 person found the following review helpful

This big bottle is great, but I wish it had a little measuring cup/cap. I keep making a mess trying to use a measuring spoon. Same flavor as the tea bags, but with an added kick. Put into warm water to dissapate the alcohol.
