Same problem I have with all NOW capsule supplements; there are broken capsules in every bottle, and in this case, the orange-yellow curcumin powder covers everything. When I take one, I get the powder on my hands. It's just a little annoying, but it points to not the best packing control. It might be a good value, but the product doesn't look as nice.
Oddly enough, when I take these, my stool gets loose (sorry to be so blunt). Other probiotics don't have this effect on me. Must be one of those personal things. Other than that, NOW is a good value, but almost every bottle of NOW capsule supplements I've used (couple dozen) has broken capsules, capsule contents spilled inside (so you taste the contents). Their manufacturing/packing needs to be improved. Other 'premium' brands, like Twinlabs, never have this problem, and each capsule is shiny and clean. I guess you get what you pay for.
Disappointed that such a simple item is so poorly made. Rough seams, the plastic is blemished. For what it is, definitely over-priced. In the end, it works, but, expected more.
capsule packing low quality, also way short of 60 caps

I got a bad bottle, probably had 30 caps instead of 60, but I didn't notice until now. I used this theanine very rarely, less than 20 times, but now I only have 10 caps left, including one that's only partly full. Too late to complain about it, but again, NOW foods has always had a problem with their capsules. Most of my other NOW supplement capsules are covered in powder from the inside of the capsule. Given that problem, I'm not surprised if some bottles are short the stated quantity. From now, if I order NOW, I'll just have to count each bottle when I receive it. Almost makes it worth paying a premium for Twinlabs or Nature's Way.
For a protein bar, these are soooo tasty. It's tempting to eat more than one should!
