Simple Comfort Food

These are basic, simple sea-salted beans, perfect for those with sensitive stomachs and for seasoning to an individual's taste prefence. For a mild, traditional Mexican flavor, I add a bit of cumin and tomatoes, and scallions, chives, or onion powder. (And sometimes culantro, cilantro, or oregano. Mm.) I pair these with a pair of homemade tofu sour cream, omelettes, vegetables, and salads. Slathering these beans in romaine hearts with various veggies and fillings makes a delicious, fresh, no-fuss meal; they make a great base for any meal, snack, or dip/spread. This is serious comfort food I can count on - creamy, quick, convenient, all in a BPA-free can. Eden is a trustworthy company that makes their products with integrity and expertise.
Nice, But No (Smoked) Cigar..
While the pepper is fresh and full of good-peppery flavor, I didn't detect a smoked essence at all. It's good for those who like a mild peppercorn mix... but I like black pepper straight up, baby!
In my search for strong recycled toilet paper, this particular brand has disappointed me. This paper does not hold up well - it is thin and falls apart easily. Simple as that.
This product has a very refreshing, tropical fragrance. But more importantly, this stuff is effective. I've noticed my hair is much silkier, thicker, and stronger. This is by far my favorite shampoo.

Fresh and Tasty

I've yet to be disappointed by Nutiva! Their seeds are full-bodied, flavorful, and fresh. Hemp seeds have a unique earthy, nutty flavor. I use them to make hemp milk for smoothies or raw bisques. Creamy and yummy. Pairs well with nutritional yeast and red bell pepper for a savory, chees-ey sauce.
These peppercorns have subtle, smokey aroma and impart a nice flavor to any dish. Can't beat freshly ground black pepp-ah!
Darn... Very of Bland

When I opened the can, I was enticed by the aroma of chili... so I was very surprised to find this to be bland and not spicy at all! (I transformed this into a zesty dip by blending it up with roasted almond butter, pumpkin puree, salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, and cinnamon - yum!) I enjoy other seasoned Eden beans... Carribean Black Beans, Spicy Refried Beans, and Baked Beans are al highly recommended.
This almond butter is smooth and sweet. I like a teensy bit of sea salt in my nut butter to highlight the natural sweetness of the nuts. I simply blitzed about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of sea salt with the entire jar in the food processor. Perfect!
I ordered this expecting a clean and simple fragrance... but it doesn't smell that way to me. The soap lathers and cleans well... it is a little more viscous than most soaps. I'd recommend other soaps of Hugo Naturals - but not this particular fragrance.

I love the dropper - no more vanilla messes! It doesn't stand up to the flavor or vanilla powder (ground vanilla bean pods)... but it's O.K. To remove the alcohol taste, I use this in cooked recipes so the alcohol evaporates. (i.e. I'll use it in crepes/baking, but not in smoothies.)
