Marvellous array of applications in foods and dressings

I use this as one of the ingredients when making my own low-sugar sports drink.

This isn't a peanut butter, and thank God for that! It's a delicious low-sodium cashew-sesame nut paste with its own distinct taste. If you want your salty, ultra-processed, long-chain saturated fat laden peanut butter, go out and buy some Jiffy and be done. Cashini is a healthy food you can spread on toast or celery or anywhere you would use peanut butter.

Put 12 or so drops on a wood chip and toss the chip in the back of a drawer to say goodbye to the presence of insects in your furniture and closets. Pleased with the quality and the price.

Don't overdo a good thing

Posted by Reviewer2905303 on Jun 27, 2011

I'm 54 years old and have gotten excellent results by taking half a gel (six drops) a day. If you're daily off-and-on sun exposure is cumulatively twelve minutes or more per day, you most likely don't need to be taking 1000 IU. Daily intake for persons 51 to 70 years old ought to be 400 IU (some say 600 IU). I take a sewing pin and pinch the gelatine capsule in order to squeeze out six drops of D3, which would be 500 IU. If my wife and I, who live in a very sunny country, were to take 1000 IU daily, we'd get pulsating headaches. D3 engages directly with various kinds of cancerous tumors and inhibits their further growth.

Like most products I purchase that are made in France, these raisins are juicy and have a well-rounded flavor other than just heavy sweetness. "Made in France" translates to the smart shopper as "better quality than what you're used to." In contrast, eating Sunmaid oven-dried raisins is like chomping on hard bubblegum -- for the birdfeeder at best.

A staple in our daily diet

Posted by Reviewer2905303 on Dec 13, 2013

Two tablespoonfuls taken with the main meal of the day keeps you from getting constipated, lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol and, if taken regularly over many seasons will guard against colon cancer. The Omega-3 content is remarkable.

This is essential for fighting cancer, yet average Westerners aren't aware of the critical connection. If you don't sun yourself 365 days a year for 15 to 30 minutes a day, you're likely in need of D3. Millions of Americans don't get enough D in their diet. Deficiency of D causes dietary calcium not to be absorbed. Adults should take 600 International Units (IU) daily unless you get some robust exposure to strong, blinding sun on a given day. Read about the benefits, cautions and dosing of D at mayoclinic.org > Patient Care & Health Info > "Drugs & supplements A-Z."

While most other brands of almomd butter use roasted almonds, Artisana offers a semi-liquid made with raw almonds. The word "raw" translates "not modified or chemically broken down by intense heat." Simply stated, "roasted" means nutritionally barren. Thank-you, Artisana, for a delicious snack food (fifth meal) that contributes to our health. We'll be buying more.

Good-tasting, light oil

Posted by Reviewer2905303 on May 13, 2010

This oil mixes well into salad dressings or anywhere you would normally use mayonnaise. Drizzle some on toast after the toast cools off. Sunproof plastic bottle comes with a squeeze-activated, nondrip spout.

I use it every day (orally) for healthy heart and skin tone

Posted by Reviewer2905303 on Jun 27, 2011

This brand tastes identical to Nutiva organic extra virgin coconut oil. For the life of me, I can't tell the difference between the two. Just go with whichever one happens to be available on the day you order.
