i'm i a hate/love relation with this particular product. first of all, i have to mention this is the first and only vit.k2 product i have tried so far. I have taken only 4 drops/day and have noticed the following: - significantly rediced hair loss: i have lost a lot of hair in the past...17 years!!! and i know for sure this has stopped that; how it worked? i believe it has to do with the fact that k2 lowers insulin resistance which gets me to the second point - no craving for sweets! and i mean absolutely no craving! and it also helped me eat only 3 large meals a day with no snacking! - almost no tartar while taking this - (the bad:) sleep troubles - and this was bad. i can sleep for only 4 hors/night whenever i take this vit. it takes a few days for this problems to set in, but unfortunately they do even when i take only 2 drops/day. I guess my next try with vit. k2 product with be the mk7 version (i.e. the "natural" form) or better fish ore! Good luck to everyone else with this product! i guess it is worth a shot. hopefully not everyone gets sleep trouble while taking this.
perfect for memory but bad for the digestive system
Posted by Reviewer3119083 on Apr 09, 2012
This is GREAT for memory, recall, speed of thinking etc., but for me, every single time I start to take this, within several days I develop serious digestive problems (like diarrhea, IBS, gastritis and that sort) and the problems simply do not go away until i stop taking this. These also give me energy durin workouts and I also lose weight while taking these even for only 5 days, but after I stop taking them (due to the digestive problems), the weight comes bank on. Good luck with these and I hope you don't have the same problems I did! I guess I need trial & error to figure out with of the ingredients are bad for me (especially my digestive system) and which are absolutely fantastic.
i read about reishi some time ago, particularly about the fact that is helps with memory problems and that is helps with stamina/energy. i didn't feel anything great while taking this but that may be because i was quite healthy already. my grandmother though feels some good benefits: lower blood pressure, improved energy, better memory. hence o recommend this particular reishi product :).
great for the brain

This has a positive effect on me. My mind is clearer and it works so much better than without it. It took me about 2 weeks to feel its effect. I've given my grandmother a lion's mane extract from a different company and she has asked me to keep on buying these for her because it helps clear her brain fog.
great at first simptom
i didn't feel anything great while taking this on a regular basis, but... here comes the "but": while not taking this at the recommended dosage, i got a bad cold (the type that usually leads to antibiotics). i took a triple dose (3 caps 2 times daily) and within 2 days i felt a lot better. i ordered a box of these just to have around in case of a new cold.
it sure works!
Posted by Reviewer3119083 on May 28, 2015
does this work? it sure does in my case. i really don't get any jitters and my mind simply wakes up whenever i take only one pill. initially i thought it was no good but then i read a comment by someone who wrote that the only way the pill works is for him is to let it dissolve under his tongue; so i did the same and i felt an incredible difference. the trouble is i worry about the side effects. so i will be staying with neuro optimizer from jarrow and some nice good quality green tea and switch to nadh only on the days when i have an important exam or something. i don't feel comfortable taking something that increases certain hormones (dopamine, serotonin etc.) on a medium term.

quite an interesting supplement! i started taking this for a strain of hpv. can't say if this product has indeed helped with a quicker recovery because the old strain went away at the time it was supposed to (1.5-2 years since first detected for a high risk strain). unfortunately, while taking this, i discovered a second (high risk) hpv strain and i've been as careful as possible to avoid this. well, it seems it hasn't helped me with hpv. i'm gonna try DIM this second time round. it did help with memory. don't know how it did this, but i sure felt a benefit in that direction in the beginning. this wore off as time went by. also, after supplementing with this for a few months, i also developed constipation (probably because digestive enzymes eventually leed to constipation). PS: i took 3-4 capsules/day. i also avoided taking this after 3 p.m. because it would give me a bit too much energy.
really helpful against back pain possibly due to a fractured vertebra
i got this for my grandmother who for some time now was "weighted down" by a bad back pain. she had seen several doctors and followed several protocols directed by those doctors but unfortunately nothing seemed to help except a (supposedly) strong anti-rheumatism cream containing vipers' venom. that cream helped but she still walked around with a humpback. since i could no longer order that cream online, i figured maybe dr. christopher's ointment might be of some benefit. after just 3 days of use, she reported no pain and no humpback. she sounded quite happy to be able to walk around with a straight back again after a couple of years of pain despite repeated medical therapies. we found out some time ago that the pain was caused by a fractured vertebra, after doing some investigations on our own. doctors always suspected rheumatism and osteoporosis. it may be that the fracture was due to osteoporosis but nothing else has worked. not even the drug she was already taking against osteoporosis.
not as good as Twinlab's NAC
Posted by Reviewer3119083 on Mar 24, 2014
I have used Twinlab's NAC just before this one and the difference is there undoubtedly. Natural Factors has a very strong (slightly unpleasant) smell which Twinlab doesn't have. Whenever I took NAC from Twinlab in the evening I would get a very good, resting sleep. This doesn't happen with Natural Factors's NAC. Plus my mind seemed clearer with Twinlab's product...not the same benefit wih this one. I wanted to same some money in shipping but ended up with I product I won't be using. My conclusion would be: try NAC, just not this particular brand as there are better ones out there. Don't know if Twinlab is one of the best, but to me it definitely felt better.
great product but non-US customers be warry of shipping fee

I love this product! It is the best probiotic I've tried. I used to get stomach aches whenever I had to take an antibiotic and this product changed things. It is true that I used it almost continuously for 4 months before I was forced to take antibiotics but I noticed a (good) difference. I intend to take 2 caps a day for 3 months after my last course of prescribed medication. Here comes the WARNING though and it is meant for NON-US CUSTOMERS: YOU ARE FORECD TO PAY SHIPPING FEES AS IF iHerb sent this product in an iced, insulated package to you which DOES NOT HAPPEN! Basically you have the same shipping conditions as for any other product (including the similar in size and weight RAW Enzymes, Women(90 caps) still from Garden of Life). Still the weight used to determine shipping costs (particularly relevant for those using DHL os UPS) is 1.52 kg versus the 0.39 kg weight of RAW Enzymes! I've contacted customer service twice about this issue and I've received a standardised answer that didn't truely address my question. Disappointing!
great for skin and...sleep
Posted by Reviewer3119083 on Nov 02, 2011
didn't do much for hair loss but it was great when taken at night for sleep; cellulite still there, wrinkles only slightly reduced, but skin looks better overall; slight weight loss and muscle definition (particularly abs) - I loved this part. Unfortunately, I was mainly interested in reducing hair loss and it didn't help with that.
works against autism
Posted by Reviewer3119083 on Jan 13, 2016
I have bought this for my friend's boy (about 1 year old). My friend has told me that whenever she gave this supplement to her son, he tried to communicate with them and even tried to pronounce a few words. Unfortunately, a month after stopping supplementation the positive effects wear off. Still, definitely recommend this for autism!
