Good for boosting energy production and possibly good for tissue repair

Posted on Apr 18, 2011

Co-enzyme Q10 is an important enzyme for processes that generate energy in our body. It acts as a catalyst, and I could certainly feel that initiating action.I alternate it with glutathione, which seems to give me more endurance. The dose of 200 mg is probably good for people who are slow oxidisers. I could have done with 100 mg only, as I tend to burn fast and Q10 seems to make me burn even faster. (This last comment is mostly for customers familiar with the theory of metabolic typing.) But the quality of this product is without doubt excellent. I think it may also have helped me repair some damage from chronic tendonitis in my right foot/ leg. Would recommend!

Extracellular matrix repair - noticable effect

Posted on Sep 15, 2014

I had several soft tissue injuries and also autoimmune/ vascular issues I needed to resolve. Chondroitin seemed appropriate choce. Glucosamine sulfate and MSM disagree with me, as I have sulphur metabolism issues (genetic) and salt sensitivity (also genetic). Decided to try chondroitin only, and it immediately boosted my energy levels and helped repair the soft tissue injury. The symptoms of dry eyes and autoimmune vasculitis also disappeared. I was surprised to learn that the extracellular matrix (nutrition rich fluid) plays an important role in the cell health and protection (functioning as a buffer). Might be relevant for people with dysautonomia/POTS/EDS. Now discovered I have atypical expression in the TNR and NCAN genes, both involved in regulation of chondroitin. Major info.

Strongly scented!

Are you serious? The product is strongly scented. It must not be advertised as unscented, because perfume hyper-reactivity is a serious illness, not a joke.

A smart product

I discovered iherb.com and its range of health products in the middle of a health crisis (dysautonomia, adrenal fatigue). This spray is another smart product I discovered; it works quickly and no nasty side effects. Melatonin is a hormone, and the dose is individually determined. One spray is almost too much for me, as I respond to small doses. Also, for some people the combination of melatonin and B6 may induce wakefulness, rather than sleep. The combination with GABA is excellent. I do not use it daily, only in times of need. I find it fantastic to have a drug-free alternative.

It works!

I am one of those people who react quickly to a supplement if deficient, even the lowest potency. The capsules are tiny yet potent. My tiredness improved so much, as well as soreness in the muscles; stamina in general. Remarkable. It even helped me stop the tremor I've recently developed, topgether with B12 and B-vitamin complex. Obviously a vitamin D deficiency is something to consider for everyone with chronic fatigue.

GlutenEase makes me less tired and sleepy when I eat bread (even my own home baked bread is difficult to digest. It does not cause any other discomfort, and I have a very sensitive digestive system.

Nice to try a progesterone cream product with real USP progesterone. I have stopped a hormone replacement therapy which used progestine, and am using the creams instead. So far very good results, even with a smallest dose.

This product was too strong for me, it sort of overdigested the food almost leading to constipation for all the wrong reasons. But my husband found it helpful. Probably helpful for people whose digestion is very weak.

Works well with D3

Posted on May 02, 2011

I've tried Magnesium MAlate with some skepsis, as I never heard of the kind. Some people wrote that they combine it with vitamin D3, so I tried to do the same. It worked for me (recovering from extreme fatigue, dysautonomia), together with Adrenergise + Pregnenolone. The combination with D3 seemed to work well, I can't tell about the product used on its own.

High quality, fast acting, safe product

Very impressed. I have been struggling with strong dysautonomia symptoms (chills and incontrollable shaking at night, very much like people with Lyme's disease). Decided to test B12, yet cyanocobalamine did not sound right, and many people don't get effect from injections. I needed a quick relief, so I ordered this product from Iherb.com. It helped immediately and calmed the symptoms related to B12 deficiency (tingling, shaking, hypothermia). I take 1/2 sublingual tablet every other day. It feels safe.

To balance sodium and regulate blood pressure

Posted on Aug 29, 2014

I have a peculiar problem, which is best described as a double edged sword: I tend to dehydrate but if I eat too much salt, I get high blood pressure. Recently I had to increase sodium, as I got quite ill from dehydration, and predictably my blood pressure went up. ...So I tried to balance it by taking potassium citrate. It worked, very easy absorbtion, good product. Other than in emergency cases as mine, potassium could be sensible to take to avoid deficiency. 99 mg seems a very safe dose to take daily (a banana has approx 425 mg potassium). The only resentment is that the tablet form is hard to swallow.

Handy for people who need smaller doses

Posted on Apr 12, 2011

A handy, clean product. I wish, though, there was a tiny stand to hold the capsule while I am filling it. Difficult to howld two capsules in the hand while dividing one and pouring into another.
