Mucolyxir does what it says

Posted on May 23, 2011

I thought this was a strange product, considering it is DNA from salmon, made by some nanotechnology or a special procedure. Yet it does what it says, thins out mucus, for a while at least. The only side effect I noticed was improved eyesight(!),otherwise nothing.

Glucosaminoglycans are the new Big Thing

Posted on Aug 27, 2014

This is an excellent product. My husband was prescribed compressing bandage for his leg pains. I ordered this product and within a week the pains were gone. He finished off the bottle, and is fine now. He doesn't need support stockings, nor do. the legs hurt anymore. My guess is that once the importance of glycosaminoglycans is realised, they will become mainstream treatment for a number of circulatory disorders.

Mitochondrial function and heart repair

Posted on May 31, 2015

I have genetic problems that lead to too little CoQ10 synthesis, and it affects my heart and my overall condition. The symptoms are bradycardia, hypothermia tiredness and slow movement. I don't take CoQ10 all the time, only when these symptoms occur. I tried softgels to see if they absorb better than powder. All I can say so far is that both work equally well. I like Natural Factors... they have some great products.

Just wonderful

Love this cream. It feels good, smells good, and most importantly it has an effect. I bought it because of the reviews on Iherb.com and I was not disappointed. Actually I've bought almost the entire series, and all the other products in Vitamin C care are just as good.

Beautiful hold

Will never go back to petrochemicals. Lovely product, better than any mass produced styling gel I've tested.

Pure and efficient!

This cream is free from nasty additives. Its texture is fairly thin compared to petrochemical creams, but it doesn't matter one bit, because this cream works! It definitely repairs the skin and moisturises it just enough without clogging the pores. This is good stuff, higly recommended.

Excellent

I have combined health problems, and periodically elevated blood glucose (prediabetes. I suffered with terrible tiredness around the period, due to low insulin sensitivity, but because I am not diabetic and I don't take any drugs, I would't take insulin tablets. I noticed immediately that this product was powerful, and since I don't have the full-blown diabetes, I noticed the effect already after a week. My blood glucose has been normal ever since! The best part is that one can take it as needed. I do believe the benfothiamine does what it says it does: it takes this important vitamin across the lipid membrane and into the cells where it is needed. Excellent.

Very fine oil

Posted on Sep 15, 2014

This is a quality product. I opened the capsule and checked for freshnes; it tasted very good. I needed a remedy for dry mucosal membranes (sinuses/ nose) and it did help. The oil also cleared my skin within a week. It has a slight effect on energy/ mood as well. I haven't tried other brands, but this was really good. Thanks! P.S. It'd be nice to know if the product is fair trade. Addendum 15th Sept 2014 My first choice remedy for extremely dry eyes (sicca).

Pity it's discontinued

I used this test in 1999, when I suffered from yeast-allergy problems. Zinc and molybden deficiency both contribute to lowered resistance to yeasts. People who suffer from yeast (Candida) allergies also tend to suffer from mold allergies and sulfite allergy. Zinc is an essential building bloc for the immune system; molybden is used to build the enzyme sulfite oxydase, which helps body to metabolise sulfites. I found that zinc tally test was very accurate, as I had a severe zinc deficiency. For days I could not taste anything at all. I found it very pleasant to drink, possibly because it's a sulfate, and I tend to lack sulfates. After a couple of bottles approximately, the liquid started to taste bitter, then horrible. That was a clear-cut sign that I had filled up with zinc. When I retested many months later, I could still taste the bad taste of sulphur forming, so still no deficiency. The product was quite expensive (it cost 3 times as much in Norway), but it's a small price compared to having zinc deficiency and not knowing it! If we had a lab doing the hair analysis, I guess I would have used that instead. Also Metagenics is a reputable company, used by medical practitioners, so I doubt it was a bad product.

Excellent!

This is how my brain works! I've tried many B-complex's as it is a critical supplement for my 'battered' brain, and although my critical vitamins are B1, B6 and B12, it is better to take tho whole B-complex, because taking a single B-vitamin can contribute to deficiency of a related B-vitamin. They all work in synergy... but in what ratios do they fit best? I've tried other formulas, and they were high quality, but the composition was not quite right. I took 1 capsule today and I feel calm, serene, ... perfectly normal. Thorne has a good & broad selection of B-complex and other supplements. I feel so lucky to be able to purchase these wonderful products!

Immunomodulator

Posted on May 31, 2015

I was recommended black cumin for allergy, as I was under a particularly bad attack of allergic bronchitis and rhinitis. Black cumin belongs to a category of plants named adaptogens; this means that they have the ability to modulate a particular system (endocrine, immune) in an organism and bring it back into balance. A taxi driver told me that black cumin oil helped his brother with pollen allergy. It helped me too, quite immediately. It calmed down the inflammatory response in my bronchial tube and in brain. The dose that helped me was 2 capsules (with meals); one in the morning and one in the evening. If I forgot the evening capsule, the cough returned at night. I will continue taking it until the pollen season is over - or until the body tells me it needs no more.

Indispensable for hyperreactivity reactions

Posted on May 31, 2015

I have hereditary hypersensitivity to a number of substances which I cannot detoxify. PAHs, for instance. Recently reacted to benzene(car fuel fumes that often leak at petrol stations). In order to prevent fumes damage to the hypothalamus by inhaling through nose, I breathed through my mouth, and developed burning lung pain, allergic cough and fever the next day). There is a product called ChemDefense that helps detoxify the offending substances. Also, pycnogenol is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce the damage. It calms down the exaggerated immune reaction and it repairs the oxidative damage to the endothelium. Before I knew what these reactions were or that pycnogenol might help, I useed to be sick for months. Now I can shorten both the reaction and the recovery time.
