The Real Thing!

Forget all the collagen derivatives and claims, I've wasted time and money on them to no avail. In the industrialized societies, the consumption of gelatin has decreased, relative to the foods that contain an inappropriately high proportion of the antimetabolic amino acids, especially tryptophan and cysteine. The degenerative and inflammatory diseases can often be corrected by the use of gelatin-rich foods.

This was a potent anti-allergen... but it caused me a great deal of digestive stress and mood issues!

READ THE LABEL! Dl-alpha tocopherol is a byproduct of a petrochemical dependent manufacturing process and may have adverse endocrine-disrupting activities, despite its molecular/chemical similarity to the natural isomer known as D-alpha tocopherol. No more Nature's way products for me...should have read the label before now!

It helps to reduce the lactic acid build-up you get when exercising. L-Citrulline supports the optimization of blood flow to the tissues. Ammonia is a typical byproduct of protein in the diet, and citrulline helps your liver take care of that stuff. High levels of NO acutely inhibit cell respiration by binding to cytochrome c oxidase. Conversely, chronic, smaller increases in NO levels stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis in diverse cell types.
Topically - NO!

I stopped using this as a topical mix ingredient after reading how it damages the extracellular matrix and skin firming is a side effect of the ongoing damage.

Seemed to work for a short while for longer/better sleep. Then I started getting very fatigued... "Theoretically should reduce ammonia, but has oddly been noted to both increase and decrease ammonia concentrations. Requires more studies to investigate this topic" (From Examine Com) I took 1g of ALCAR (which is a very good quick ammonia reducer) and my fatigue and brain fog went away in rapidly!
