My son really likes this soap

Posted on Dec 27, 2011

It seems to work well and is a nice, mild, non-drying soap.

Two nights in, I and my dog are sleeping much better

Posted on Apr 18, 2012

I've only been taking half a scoop for two nights, but last night I noticed I fell asleep much more easily, even after I woke up several times. Usually I lie awake for hours. I'm giving it to my dog and she is usually up several times a night and she slept soundly right through. This is going to be a keeper.

Very Nice Cleanser

Posted on Aug 31, 2012

This is one of the nicest cleansers I've ever used. Very gentle, but still cleanses oily skin, unlike Cetaphil, for instance.

I love SAMe

Posted on Aug 31, 2012

It's too bad more people don't know about the wonderful benefits of SAMe - good for depression, joints and the liver.

Good sweetener but sometimes changes the taste of things

Posted on Aug 31, 2012

If you have to use sugar, this is one of the better substitutes.

Tastes pretty good

Posted on Aug 31, 2012

I had tried the Cocoa Ceps while fighting a cold and I thought it wasn't too bad tasting (with honey), then I opened one of these thinking I was going to have a cup of hot cocoa and instead got coffee! I wish I had had some cream to taste it the way I normally take my coffee, but I had to drink it black. I think with cream it would probably taste great, but then again, I have never been able to understand why people drink black coffee (what is the point?) so I can't really give it a fair review. I think the concept is great, though, and I do think these drinks help to boost the immune system. Update: I drink this instead of regular coffee whenever I feel a cold coming on (which is rare nowadays thanks to Symbiotics colostrum and astragalus). I really like this stuff and think cordyceps are awesome.

Excellent Value

I and my dogs take milk thistle, so this is a great way to buy it. I love iHerb and I love Starwest.

Pretty Decent Taste

Posted on Jul 30, 2013

I just received this today and I was expecting it to taste horrible. I have taken a lot of truly awful tasting supplements and this isn't even what I would call bad, and I put it in water, not juice. I will continue to take it in water. One thing I'm not crazy about right off the bat is that the wheatgrass and barley grass do not come from juice. However, I bought some barley grass juice powder separately, as that was what I really was interested in. The other downer is that I read on another site that alfalfa powder can raise estrogen levels, and for those of us who don't want to do that, maybe they ought to rethink the alfalfa. What I would really like to know is how this compares to Green Vibrance. I read a spectacular review of Green Vibrance from a girl who suffered from ADD and how it changed her life, and so I'm thinking of ordering that for my son who has ADD. Maybe Orac-Energy will do the same for him, however?

My Review is Based on Taste Only So Far

Posted on Jan 14, 2014

I haven't had this long enough to say if it helps in detoxing or in feeling better, but I like the taste. It is quite mild, and I normally detest herbal teas. I couldn't wait for this to arrive (it takes several weeks to get to Canada), so bought Yogi Tea Lemon and Ginger Detox from a local store, and while I like the taste of that one better, this one has more ingredients in it, so I think this one will probably be more helpful medicinally.

It's supposed to be fine for gluten intolerant people

Posted on Feb 13, 2014

I just opened my first jar of this and noticed it said that it contained gluten and was made from wheat berries. I was dismayed, because I've taken other brands of L-glutamine and I know they were gluten free. So I just did a search and found the following information, hopefully it will reassure some others who are afraid to take this: Is GlutImmune safe for those with a gluten or wheat allergy? GlutImmune is enzymatically derived from red wheat berries, and the resulting hydrolysis activity reduces the gluten molecule to a point where it seems to eliminate any intolerance for wheat sensitive individuals. It doesn't taste that bad, either. Not as bland as regular L-glutamine, but still, it's not terrible. Glutamine is one of those things that definitely does not need to be encapsulated, especially when most companies add flow agents in order to do so. I am going to try it because it gets such great reviews and will update my review after a few weeks.

Microscopic!

Posted on Aug 31, 2012

Get your magnifying glass out if you're ordering this product - it's a teeny, tiny bottle. (Somehow I thought I was ordering a 1 ounce bottle). It seems to be good stuff though, but it probably won't last long. The larger size for $22 is definitely a better deal.
