Teeny tiny pills are easy to swallow and extremely effective for pain and inflammation

Posted on Jul 30, 2012

I bought these by "mistake" for a friend when the New Chapter line was on special. I had been using Zyflamend for a year or so and knew how effective they were, so when her knees started acting up and getting inflamed I thought Zyflamend would help. The "mistake" was not realizing these were the EasyCaps. I am going to start ordering them for myself instead of the WholeBody softgels I have been taking. The pills are so small and easy to swallow, yet still pack a strong punch against pain and inflammation. Heal well!

Lactobacillus GG is well researched and anectdotal evidence says it works well too

Posted on Aug 01, 2012

1 person found the following review helpful

Lactobacillus GG is one of the strains of probiotic with the most scientific study behind it. Different strains of probiotics affect the body differently. Please do some research, but among other physical symptoms this strain may treat especially well are pouchitis, the often difficult to treat Clostridium difficil (c diff) and eczema. A dear friend experienced painful pouchitis after colon surgery, and I wish I had known that this supplement was perhaps what could give her some relief. For me it was just an attempt to use beneficial bacteria after too many antibiotics. I found it very effective, and would highly recommend this brand and strain to others. Because different strains work better for different conditions, talk to your doctor to decide what supplement is best for you. If taking to offset antibiotics do take them at least a few hours apart so they don't work against each other. Here's to your radiant health! :)

A beautiful gift for yourself or a loved one

The packaging makes this a lovely gift, but I chose to keep mine for personal spa-like treatments. I love Waleda products, but I may not have tried all of these lovely oils had it not been for this sampler. It's hard for me to choose a favorite, but I think for me it's the Birch cellulite oil. Beautiful scents, moisturizing and healing, excellent quality all the way around.

A good omega-3 supplement at a good price

Posted on Aug 15, 2012

1 person found the following review helpful

I find these softgels pretty large but slippery and easy enough to swallow. I rotate them into my Omega-3 regimine, and am hoping to get my sweetie to try them as well as his doctor wants to put him on medication for high cholesterol if he doesn't get his numbers down. He doesn't want to change his diet but I'm hoping Coq-10 and omegas with flax will help. I will update my review in a couple of months after he incorporates them into his plan and gets his cholesterol levels tested again. :)

Super Special price could not be beat!

My sweetie and I have been using the Enzymedica digestive enzymes for the past few years, and we are very happy with them--except for the cost. I bought these Daily Digestives when they were on Super Special. For $5 I could not resist. I will use these when we are in between orders of Enzymedica Digest, but I try to avoid blister packs as a regular item because of the added packaging. Even at the regular iHerb price these are a great deal and seem to be a very good enzyme.

Great price, very effective!

We bought the 360 softgel size after trying these. Teeny tiny size, easy to swallow. I live in a very overcast part of the world, part of the reason my Vitamin D levels tested shockingly low. This supplement helped a LOT. Check with your doctor or health practitioner to see what dosage may be right for you. A follow-up blood test to check levels is important to make sure you don't overdo it over time. :)

Fantastic price--about 1/2 the price of what I can find locally!

I live in a very overcast area, and don't spend tons of time outside, so I don't get much vitamin D from sunlight. These little softgels really seem to help to keep my blood levels of D in a more normal range. Without supplementation my levels dip dangerously low. I like the dosage as well...I can take a few a day if need be, and when I take just one I don't need to worry that I'm taking a high potency that may not be good for my daily use. :)

Frankincense and myrrh scent is what I like best about this product

Posted on Aug 14, 2012

I love Indigo Wild, especially their frankincense and myrrh products. Their frankincense and myrrh liquid soap is a favorite of mine for fragrant showers and soft skin. This tin of solid moisturizers is nice too, and the fragrance is more subtle than that of the liquid soap. I don't rely on this product as a heavy-duty moisturizer for winter chapped hands or anything like that, but as a regular skin softening rub with a delicious scent I really like it.

Recommended by MD after lab work showed parasite

Posted on Jun 10, 2012

Someone in my world has digestive ills, and and out of state lab showed a giardia-type parasite. The MD who suggested this product has a good knowledge of functional and alternative medicine. It took more than one bottle, but it made a big difference.

I always keep it on hand for the kitchen and medicine cabinet

I have been using this product for many years, originally suggested by my Naturopath. I use it in rinse water for fruits and veggies to clean and disinfect from potential germs, pesticides, e coli, etc. I use it to similarly disinfect counters and floors, washable air filters, on and on, just a bit diluted in water. It's super bitter, FYI. I have used directly on stubborn skin issues, but in general do dilute a bit or a lot. There is a lot of good info out there about using it to help to heal issues like Candida, help support Lyme healing, fungus, parasites, etc. etc. Just know that die-off/herx symptoms may emerge and you can feel worse before better. Back off your dosage if you need to for a bit, and always consult your own practitioners for medical advice. The fact that it kills e coli, staph, salmonella, etc. means that I will *always* keep it on hand for my medicine cabinet, and when traveling!

Excellent quality food sourced nutrients

Posted on Jul 30, 2012

My sweetie swears by this vitamin. When he takes just a couple a day (rather than 3 with each meal as suggested) he finds that his energy and all-around feeling of wellness are much better. I can't take them because I find them hard to swallow, too dry and large for me. The ingredients are amazing, a blend of nutrients in their whole food state, nothing synthetic here. The antioxidants are from fruits and veggies, tonic mushrooms and sea veggies add super benefits you may not get in your regular diet. NOTE that coffee extract and green tea are part of the blend, so depending on your situation these could either be energy-enhancing or too stimulating. Play with the dose and build it up, don't try 9 the first day for instance. If you have allergies/sensitivities or complicated health issues read labels carefully because in a comprehensive blend like this you may find something tucked in there that you shouldn't be taking. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Here's to your radiant wellness! :)

Keeps the mice away, and the price on this size is amazing!

Posted on Jul 21, 2012

2 people found the following review helpful

I had been buying the 1 or 2 oz. sizes regularly from local health food stores, but this is *so* much more economical since I use so much of it! NOTE--he smaller sizes are packaged to dispense 1 drop at a time, while this larger size uses a regular pour style opening. I will keep ordering this size (or the 16 oz) as refills for the 2 oz. size bottles with the dropper cap. I live in a very old house with lots of holes that deer mice like to slip through. I read that using peppermint essential oil on strategically placed cotton balls helps to deter mice from entering a home. Of course if you can figure out where they come in, plug those holes as well as you can! If you do use cotton balls, they need to be refreshed regularly, at least every couple of weeks. I also use this oil in our car, as I learned that mice can get in the car, under the hood, etc. and cause a lot of damage when they gnaw. I also like to use it in the home diluted in a mister bottle as a freshening room spray. When I did so I seemed to kill off a disturbingly large number of Asian lady beetles (they look like pale Ladybugs but secrete something that smells AWFUL) that made their way into the house. I hear that ants and other insects also peppermint. It can be an eye irritant and quite the sinus cleaner if you use too much around the house, but it doesn't bother us at all. I'm so very grateful for this fresh and natural way to combat rodents and other pests.
