Easier than self harvesting in the winter
Posted by Zambini on Feb 05, 2009
Can't say the quality is stellar compared to our self harvested mullein, but face it, sometimes it just isn't practical to self harvest mullein. Like, after a freeze when the leaves are all wilted. It still works well, and taste is fine. And good for those whose mullein is actually under snow in the winter. ;-) It is hard to find mullein on its own, not in a combo tea. So glad that Alvia does this for us.
Appropriate substitute for commercial and toxic toothpastes
It could taste a bit better, but no lingering nastiness like some other natural toothpastes. My mouth does feel better after brushing with this - cleaner and healthier.
Part of Mito Cocktail
This is being used as part of my 13 yo daughter's mito cocktail. It is working as it should. Don't know that it is the absolute best formulation out there, but for the price it is great for us and doing its job. Also added it to my husband's routine for absorption, and it gave him a boost in energy.
Oh, Yes, Amazing Stuff

Have a son who is allergic to antibiotics - yes, plural, not just one or two. His last sore throat, I searched for something that would take care of it and came up with GSE, a natural antibiotic the FDA doesn't want you to know about. He gargled with 5-8 drops in 6oz of water 2-3 times and the throat, which had been infected for almost a week cleared! Just like that!!! The whole family uses it now, and we recommend it to anyone we can.
The one to get
Posted by Zambini on Dec 02, 2007
From all I had heard and read this was the CLO to get. The price was too high until we discovered iHerb though. When I checked the price out of curiosity, I was so happy! We ordered it and have been very happy with the product, as expected. The price is the great bonus here though.
Not the same product that I bought previously
BUYER BEWARE> They have changed the product. The packaging isn't the same. Read the ingredients. It is no longer just GSE, they have added 400 mg of other ingredients. We bought two bottles to replenish our supply. They don't work as well or quickly for our purposes with the added ingredients. We are not just looking for another cold relief, we are looking for PURE GSE to tame yeast. The capsules used to be a nice option to avoid the nasty taste of the liquid. Unless I can buy them in pure form again, it is back to the liquid GSE
So far, so GOOD
After reading about hypothyroid and noticing much of the symptoms in my husband, I started researching an iodine supplement. I found this to be closest to my liking for not having extra ingredients while containing the potency desired. My husband and I each started with 1 tablet a day. I can say that I truly have noticed a difference as of day 4. He has been taking it a day or two longer. I'm sure we will know more how it is working for him after a full work week. For now though, I can say it seems to be doing what it promises. I will try to remember to come back with a more long term update when the bottle nears the end.
Great Blend for Us
Posted by Zambini on Dec 02, 2007
My husband has gone through 3 bottles of this multi now. When reordering today, I again checked the amounts per nutrient and found that it contains the several new items I'd read about in the exact quantities my husband should be taking. He's just under the 50 marker, but this is definitely the right blend for his current health status. I appreciate the thoughtfulness to mens' needs that went into this product.
Happy, but beware LARGE pill
We are very happy with the potency and effectiveness of the Cal/Mag product, and normally are with Schiff brand supplements. I would like to add a warning to those who have a problem swallowing pills. This is the largest supplement pill that is non-chewable we have come across to date. If size is an issue, you may have problems. One family member with pill issues can get it down because is it gel, the other can't and needs an alternative cal/mag.
Good all around
Started with Protec after carefully reading and researching. Felt it would be best all round. We weren't disappointed. A daily part of the morning routine makes noticeable improvement in digestion. Son-in-law didn't bring it on his trip, and noticed a large difference (flatulence) without his daily Protec. We are very pleased with the performance of this supplement.
I always trust Bob's Red Mill

I will admit that I would prefer having King Arthur unbleached available to me cheaply, but Bob's really does a great stand in job. When faced with the option of any flour other than KA, Bob's is the first pick.
for Yeast Control
Added this at the suggestion of another parent who was trying to control yeast with gut issues. It seems to help keep it at bay for my son. An occasional flare, but not as much with this added in. Been trying it myself, and do note improvement in keeping yeast at bay. Just one a day, probably could do more. But, if a flare we just knock it back quickly with grapefruit seed extract. This seems to take the edge off the yeast invasion quite nicely.
