I was taking 500mg SerraPeptase for a month with excellent results - recently stopped that, substituting Serraflazyme on the same regime - I have been taking 1 pill first thing in the morning well before breakfast. The benefit found with the SerraPeptase seems to have been maintained with the Serraflazyme: ie. the running induced knee pain seems to have largely vanished. It is considerably less expensive. I also have continued to take glucosamine 1500mg/chondroitin 1200mg once per day.

I have been taking 1 pill first thing in the morning well before breakfast. After about a week the running induced knee pain seems to have largely vanished. I also habitually take glucosamine 1500mg/chondroitin 1200mg once per day and have for a couple years. Recently stopped these 500mg SerraPeptase pills to try Serraflazyme.
