finally a magnesium product i can tolerate

this was the fifth magnesium product i tried and the first that was completely bio-compatible. i had previously tried doctor's best glycinate tablets (exacerbated peripheral neuropathy in my legs), kirkman magnesium malate (pretty bad dry mouth), now foods magnesium citrate (irritated my stomach) and ancient minerals magnesium oil (too much of a hassle to deal with daily). I'm about 80% thru my first bottle of this magnesium and love it. No bad reactions and I can definitely feel it's relaxing effects.

Superior form of methlyfolate

I found this superior to Thorne's 5-MTHF. I tried Thorne's since it's in capsules which I usually prefer but surprising didn't feel the positive effects that had been experiencing with Solgar. I switched back to Solgar and immediately felt better once again. The chemical composition is different and for me at least, made a difference. The Solgar brand really helps my gut inflammation and clears up headaches but for me needs to be taken and kept in balance with methyl b 12 and the other b vitamins. I will crash and experience muscle weakness if taking metafolin alone but it's a tremendous help if I balance it correctly with sublingual methyl b12 and the other b vitamins.

seems excellent as an anti-bloating product

has worked excellent as an anti-bloating agent and clearing out my stomach but doesn't seem to have any soothing or calming effect. i'm looking for something soothing so i'll probably concentrate on slippery elm for daily use but i don't mind having this on hand in case i need to combat any future bloating episodes.

the large tablets didn't agree with me. switched over to kirkman magesium glycinate in capsules and have been very pleased. hard to say how effective this product would have been since i didn't wait too long to make a change.

Even when I divided up the tablet into a smaller 1,250 mcg dose it seemed much harsher than the ET brand which I use with good results.

i received this product and read on the bottle that it contains rice flour as well as others differences. it's important that i can trust a product accurately listing everything it contains before i make a purchase.

no added bioflavanoids more agreeable

i have peripheral neuropathy and the ester c with bioflavanoids (both powder and capsules) caused a mild tingling sensation in my legs for about 45 minutes. this was the third ester c i tried and was happy to discover that i had no reaction. this could be a good choice for someone that's a little too sensitive for the bioflavanoids in the other ester c.

small reaction to the bioflavanoids

i have peripheral neuropathy and these consistently caused a mild tingling sensation for about 45 minutes. i finished the bottle then tried the ester c without the added bioflavanoids and had no reaction. these are likely great for most people but someone that is very sensitive may do better on the straight ester c that iherb also sells.

not thorne's best product

I was surprised when I switched over from Solgar's Metafolin to Thorne's 5-MTHF and lost the positives and was getting from the Solgar's brand. I switched back to Solgar and immediately felt better once again. Seems like the patent Solgar has on their methylfolate is superior.

I only use one-tenth a capsule at a time so this product obviously delivers tremendous value for the price.
