Hi, my name is Kate. Hope that some of my reviews might be of help. About my health - I'm 28, have almost a perfect diet (whole grains, meat, dairy, veggies, healthy fats - pretty much everything healthy). It's a usual for me to get weird reaction from supps, like head ache, or stomach ache, or weakness. As for cosmetics - i'm oily/comby skin. Hair is porous, somewhat oily. I also suffer from anxiety and sometimes from a terrible insomnia, but i don't really believe anything works for me for aiding those since i had tried a lot and it doesn't make much of a change.

this is the first and the very last time that i had bought anything based purely on reviews and not on ingredient list. this mask doesn't do anything. i also find the formulation mediocre. it keeps saying protein repairing system on the tube but i don't see any proteins in the ingredient list. just maybe "soy seed extract" but then i can't tell for sure if it's soy oil (it is an extract from seeds after all), or soy protein or whatever. the only star i can give this is for the thick mask-like consistency which, i guess, makes it work as a base for DIY hair masks. still it's a waste of money. for this price you can get bigger volume of infamous mill's creek keratin conditioner which i find to be the best.

this one is of darker red colour than frontier naturals' red salt, not that much different in taste, thou, maybe just a lil bit richer in taste. saw this brand around in grocery stores, but not this particular type, which i happen to like. probably going to order this one from now on since it's cheaper. the mill is not great but it doesn't matter. i wish iherb would sell alaea salt like this in bulk.

mixes well with water, taste a lil bit sweet if you dilute it in a smaller amount of water. i actually bought some empty capsules to put this in but i decided not to since it's very easy to measure it with a spoon. this one states "preferably with a meal" while other brands do not point that out at all. i take it without a meal, just with water or juice sometimes. didn't carry any calming effect on me if there is supposed to be one but nothing really does. i'm sure it has some benefits for my overall well being and the price is really great.

seems to work on skin. but i REALLY wish american producers would stop putting over 900% of B vitamins or any other vitamins into any supplements, it gets really annoying, i don't need that amount at all, and other supplements that i take also has it and also i have a perfect diet already, thank you very much. it's just stupid, even considering it's water soluble.

i like that it's dirty cheap, i like how big the bottle is. i also fancy the smell and the ingredient list. in terms of washing with my oily skin this one is a bit too moisturizing, so i don't wash my face, back, or chest with it. for hair, too, it's not as good in terms of cleansing. i use it for hair at the first wash and then wash it for the second time with something more cleansing. great for shaving. so and so a good product.

i consider this to be actually expensive since it's basically just cellulose. the capsules are not the easiest to fill and then close. still a useful thing.

my stomach is not the easiest to upset but this actually cause me to have some ache when taken without food. so just like the instruction said i continued to take it with food. tastes and smells kinda nasty. not the easiest to dilute, i usually add it to milk products, like kefir. no calming or otherwise noticeable beneficial effect. probably won't repurchase.

good product

nice natural smell, good ingredients, awesome price, big bottle. works better in hard water (like pretty much anything else). isn't as good as kinky curly knot today leave-in detangler in terms of detangling, thou, but this one gives you more shine. i also use it as a mask on dry hair wrapped in plastic wrap. on wet hair works much better when you elongate the exposure time and use it as a mask for minimum 10-15 minutes. have a great time using this product, it's a great treatment :) UPDATE. I had also tried mill creek's hanna conditioner and i liked it better than this one.

good complex silica supplement

for me this is a replacement of solgar's horsetail silica supplement. not cuz the latter is worse. silica supplement gives me a rare reaction of feeling a bit hyper and too energetic, giving me a bit of a rapid heartbeat which i don't fancy very much. currently my boyfriend is taking solgar's silica in the amount of 3 capsules per day and has no such effect. i'm a slow metabolism person with sleeping issues, so i don't like pretty much anything meddling with my energy level. solgar's horsetail silica has the similar dosage of silica per capsule but suggests taking up to 3 capsules per day, which gives me the reactions. and this futurebiotics one suggests that one capsule per day is enough and also has additional zinc, magnesium etc., which i find useful. as for results of course it's a less of an effect in skin improvement when comparing with 3x20 mg silica capsules per day, but this also gives me a good effect and plus my legs are less tired (maybe with the help of magnesium, there's also additional magnesium in other supplement i took simultaneously), and I had also noticed that the water retention decreased and my face is less swollen in the morning. i take one tablet in the morning with the meal. i've been taking this for awhile now, together with Now Foods, Glucosamine & Chondroitin with MSM and what i noticed among other things that my neck doesn't make crackling sounds when i stretch it. it still gives me energetic effect thou, but to aid sleep i'm taking some amino acids supplements. @Update@ i found out that this one is a lil bit too good for hair growth, gave me some ingrown hair and some tiny breakouts on back and chest, gonna reduce the intake, maybe silica supplements are just not for me. but i still consider this as a great supplement and would highly recommend it to anyone.
