Hi, I am a freelance journalist, predominantly producing health features and treatment reviews and an author of four books, three of the self-help genre and one, Toxic Beauty, discussing the hazardous toxic chemicals used in everyday cosmetic and personal care products. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and have found various useful products on Iherb. I honestly don't know where I'd be without Iherb since the product prices are so reasonable and enable me to purchase supplements I wouldn't have access to in the UK. I purchase most of my natural beauty products and snacks from Iherb as they seem to offer some good organic protein snacks that aren't ludicrously high in sugar and some great organic skincare lines. I I hope my Iherb reviews give you some insight into my thoughts about the products Iherb carry.

Love the taste of this and the high quality ingredients. I am a fan of Amazing Meal generally although they can be a bit pricey. I think it's worth it for a superior protein powder or meal replacement.

This is a good sunscreen. It goes on easily, blends in and doesn't leave too much of a white tinge. It's touch as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide can leave that whitish tinge, but this rubs in fairly well. It also smells great and did a great job of protecting my skin from the Corfu sunshine! It's the only sunscreen I will be buying in future.

I like this natural mascara, it makes my eye lashes appear significantly longer, it doesn't sting my eyes or contain loads of plasticizers and it's reasonably priced. I only use this brand of mascara now. I like Honeybee Gardens products generally.

Super Nutrition offer some great combinations of multi-vitamins so you don't have to take a thousand other pills at the same time. I find the high doses of B vitamins can make me feel a bit sick so it's better to stagger the dose I think. Otherwise fantastic!

D-Ribose definitely increases energy levels and gives a great post work-out boost. Try blending with Pure Essence Ionic Fizz, liposomal vitamin C and some electrolytes and it does feel like muscles recover quicker. Good buy for sure.

I like this oat bran, it doesn't upset my stomach as much as oats do, it tastes fine and mixes easily. I mix it with warmed up rice milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and sprouted rice protein powder for a quick healthy, low cal, high protein breakfast!

Great protein powder with a good nutritional profile. It seems fairly easy to digest and it contains real vanilla as opposed to other brands that use flavoring and the natural vanilla flavoring always gives me headaches. I love that it contains liver boosting milk thistle and isn't over-powering in terms of taste. My only issue is that it's pricey for the amount you get, so I'll buy it occasionally and stick with my plain rice protein powder. As a general rule I like HealthForce Nutritionals products though.

Not if you have CFS and gut disorders and respond adversely to other forms of dairy. I thought I'd give raw dairy and this a try but still gives me terrible stomach pains. Not to put anyone off though as I have heard great things about it helping those with chronic illnesses and cancer etc. It's just not for those who seem to have dairy issues.

The taste is quite nice, although a tad too sweet, but this gave me a terrible headache. There are better protein powders out there like Vega, SunWarrior and Dr Mercola.
