Hi, I am a freelance journalist, predominantly producing health features and treatment reviews and an author of four books, three of the self-help genre and one, Toxic Beauty, discussing the hazardous toxic chemicals used in everyday cosmetic and personal care products. I suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and have found various useful products on Iherb. I honestly don't know where I'd be without Iherb since the product prices are so reasonable and enable me to purchase supplements I wouldn't have access to in the UK. I purchase most of my natural beauty products and snacks from Iherb as they seem to offer some good organic protein snacks that aren't ludicrously high in sugar and some great organic skincare lines. I I hope my Iherb reviews give you some insight into my thoughts about the products Iherb carry.

I like this. The taste is not offensive, it doesn't have overwhelming flavorings and contains Omega-3s.

I have chronic digestive problems and this protein powder is one the best I've tried. It mixes easily and tastes fine even with my pure green veggie juices. I prefer it to the ones with flavorings. It's just as good as pricier brands and I will continue to buy it. I highly recommend, it's a store cupboard staple for me!

This is fine for me. I don't tolerate synthetic chemicals well and this lip balm smells nice without offending my senses, keeps the lips moist and doesn't irritate my lips so I am happy with it, especially for the price.

This tea has a great flavor, the Tulsi is very relaxing. It doesn't irritate the stomach or intestines too much but helps your bowels move more easily. It's not really had a laxative effect on me as such but just relieves constipation. Sometimes I have to have two or three bags in a day to get an effect but that might be down to my own bowel issues!

Bit of an almond butter addict and this is by far the best one I've had of either the roasted or raw variety. You don't have to spend ages stirring it, it has a fantastic slightly sweet taste. Just absolutely delicious!!!

Bee pollen is a good nutrient source if you can get past the taste. This is great brand and works well in smoothies and scattered over cereal. It's been said to help CFS sufferers.

As a sufferer of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome I have found D-Ribose very helpful in giving me extra energy and just getting me through the day. It's been found to be effective at aiding muscle and heart recovery after exercise. It also serves as a sweetener pretty well. I often put it in smoothies or electrolyte drinks to give me a boost. This is not that cheap for the money, you can get it cheaper elsewhere but does the job.

Love Colorganics. Adds a nice tint, goes on easy and is pretty natural. It's great for day time when you don't want a strong color on your lips. I use it every day.

One of the few things that has actually done anything beneficial to aid my CFS. I find it gives me extra energy and makes me feel more alert and less moody. I like FoodScience products and this is no exception.

Brain booster!

Improves my foggy brain and helps give me that extra bit of energy. The lozenges taste ok too. It's one of the best B-12s I have found and it's methyl b-12 rather than cyanocobalamin which is good because it's not converted to cyanide in the body. The other bonus is the price. It's no wonder I order all my vitamins from the US even though I live in England! Think I need to move there.

This is kind of expensive for me but I really like the product. HealthForce Nutritionals seems to avoid using lots of toxic synthetic fillers and it does seem to help my liver. Very very good.
