Hello everyone. I'm a huge fan of treating the causes of diseases rather than just masking symptoms. I'm also a huge iHerb fan! I'm writing all my reviews here as someone that has read as much information on vitamin C, detoxification, diet, health and nutrition as I can and that is very slowly improving month by month from a very severe neurological disease (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) - thanks in part to wonderful books by various orthomolecular and holistic medicine experts - that has left me housebound and almost entirely bedbound for many years. Since I was just 19. I wish so much I had had this information early on in my disease, rather than coming to it more than 10 years in. Healing is so much easier the earlier you start it. But even if you're long-term very ill like me, there is real cause for hope with the right info + care. Real healing takes time, but is not impossible. It's the boring stuff that works; vitamins etc. Not the 'sexy' new and exotic stuff!

Too low dose by far

That 'natural C' is completely differnet to ascorbic acid is just complete guff. They act the same way in the body, except buying 'natural C' like this costs you hundreds of times more and make it very unlikely you'll ever take a dose big enough to do anything much for you at all. Ditch this and take 10 or more grams of the vitamin C the vitamin C experts and pioneers all use - ascorbic acid. This is the form of vitamin C that animals make in their livers and kidneys and that humans used to make in their livers and kidneys. Our bodies are primed to use this form of vitamin C! This product is fine to take alongside ascorbic acid..extra bioflavs are always good, but it is not enough by itself as the dose is far too low.

Great product

Great source of vitamin A, and also copper and all the Bs. Much easier to ingest than actual liver! I wanted to know how much raw beef liver it took took to make a capsule of this product so I could work out my vitamin A intake. The company was very helpful and they replied: "It takes 2000 mg of fresh beef liver to make up one 500 mg capsule of Beef Liver Natural Glandular. We do not routinely test the vitamin A content, but we do know from our supplier from other project work they have done that freeze dried beef liver can contain up to 50,000 mcg’s of Retinol (Vitamin A) per 100 grams, which degrades naturally over about 5 months to around 20,000 mcg’s per gram."

This is the best form of carnitine according to Dr Sinatra. I take this for Myalgic Enephalomyelitis and it really helps my heart problems. Improved the time I can stay upright hugely; from 10 minutes a day to 20 or so. Ubiquinol gave me another 10 too. Dr Sinatra explains that ubiquinol/CoQ10 works synergistically with carnitine, as does ribose and magnesium. He calls them the 'awesome foursome' of cardiac health.

Luckily I can tolerate these enzymes, as I have had some problems with other brands.

Love Thorne but not GMOs

Thorne is one of the main go-to brands for supplements without many added nasties. It is disappointing their vitamin C is not GMO free. If this product beocmes GMO free I will start buying it again but for now this one is off my shopping list. The large capsule count on this product is great. Please make a GMO free version Thorne!

Tastes good but not convinced it is healthy

This product really does taste nice. I like the taste a lot. But I am not convinced this is a healthy product, even if it is recommended by the WAPF of whom I am a huge supporter. I have been reading online since I bought it that it has an effect on the body just the same as if you had eaten MSG or any other yeast product such as brewers yeast. That explained a lot to me, as I had been experiencing some weird symptoms after using this product but wasn't sure what the cause might be. This product is also nice tasting but can make you feel weirdly compelled to keep eating it, just like MSG foods do. It is also not really a food based supplement at all, as the yeast is pasturised making it a heavily processed food and not in the 'real food' category at all. It also contains added synthetic vitamins (so why not just take those at proper doses and in optimal forms in the first place?), and worst of all, the worst form of B12 that educated nutritional experts tell you to always avoid because it needs to be detoxified; cyanocobalamin! I wont be rebuying this. I feel like coenzymated B complex sublinguals or liver, or liver capsules are a far more body friendly and far more effective way of getting B vitamins in as is taking a probiotic to promote the good bugs and their making of B vitamins in the gut.

Excellent brand and product

If you have an illness like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis a high quality and potency mutivitamin and mineral is really essential. I can't recommend this product highly enough for M.E. patients. It has so many good ingredients, and is a great price too. If you have almost no money to spend on supplements, this is a good one to buy. It covers so many bases for you. I take 4 a day. The main differnece between this one and the old one, as best as I can make out, seems to be that the vitamin D has been taken up to 2000 IU. A welcome change. The calcium content is also up 1 mg and some of the A is now as vitamin A and not just beta carotene. I'd prefer all of it was non-beta carotene, as I have thyroid deficiency.

Gave me a surprising boost

I was taking quite a decent amount of oral B complex, so i was quite surprised by how much of a voost this product gave me wthin just a week of starting it. I suppose that means my body wasn't converting at least one of the B vitamins very well. I'd recommend anyone seriously ill try this product for a few weeks to see if you're absorbinb the standard B vitamins as well as you could be. The taste is quite nice too, though to make it a perfect product it would also contain activated folate (Metafolin). I may now try the B1 as s atand alone coenzymated sublingual, thank SN and iHerb!

I agree, iHerb and DHL a great team! This product is just vital for anyone with seious neurological or cadiac problems. If you have an illness like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis which involves BOTH, it is really essential. I can't recommand it highly enough for ME patients. I have severe M.E. This product, at 300mg daily, has taken me from a level of 5% functioning, up to 8%. That is a lot when you are so ill and housebound and 99% bedbound! Has also changed my sleep patterns massively.
