Ah, Chlorella. Thou art my favourite

The main thing this does for me is helping my skin keep clear- as a part of a routine. I take 3 tablets a day (You should start of a little gentler, as Chlorella is detoxifying). It also helps me with my vitamin/mineral levels when I'm a little picky with my food. These tablets are on the bigger side, but if you're used to taking things down your throat you should be good (Yes I'm talking about tablets). Now Foods sells Chlorella also in veggie-caps, and in powder form, so everybody should find something they are comfortable with. Thank you, Now Foods Chlorella. I will buy you and swallow you forever.

Not what I was expecting

My fine, Nordic hair needs a lot of moisture- this provided less than zero, my hair was left coarse and dry at the ends. I got some fluffiness out of it, maybe it's a volumizer in disguise :). Not for me. Nice packaging though. One star for being vegan.

Oil based

I really don't know about this. Some say (Even hairdressers say) that oils can protect your hair from heat, but for me, it feels like my hair is.. well... fried. When I go over with my flat iron it smells like when you dry roast nuts in a frying pan. Doesn't really seem like a good thing, and everyone seems to have different opinions about oils in combination with heat styling. So I'm rating this with 3 stars, because it could suck or it could be a superstar. It just depends on what you decide to believe in, or rather how your hair feels after using it. I haven't decided whether it's a keeper or not. Not yet. Cons so far: Not humidity resistant and doesn't keep my hair from getting frizzy. Doesn't keep my hair straight- but it's not a styling product so you shouldn't expect that.

Best vegan milk chocolate

De-li-cious. Straight up the best vegan "milk" chocolate I've ever tried. A great (And sweet) kid friendly (Adult friendly too!) alternative to strong raw/dark/high percentage chocolate. The package has changed, it's a little more 2012 ish than the one on iHerbs picture. On the back it says the chocolate is free of the 8 common allergens: Wheat, peanuts, egg, fish, dairy, tree nuts, soy and shellfish. Also made without casein, potato, sesame and sulfites. But whether you are intolerant or vegan or not, maybe just looking for something new: TRY THIS!

Will buy again and again and again

This is great for EVERYTHING where you carnivores would use ground meat, and for so much else like making veggiebacon. Doesn't taste anything when not marinated or spiced. The price is awesome.

I get nauseus and my head hurts

I couldn't even test this for as long as I wanted, the smell was so intense and sickening. Blah. I think it glides on a little thin/runny for it to be a night treatment, I'm still going to stick to my pure shea butter. For the short period I tested it, it didn't suit my conditioning needs. I'm going to explore the rest of the Hurraw! lip balm assortment though, to see if there is something I like better. I like that they are vegan. The packaging stands out because it's not round like your regular lip balm, it's oval and that's pretty cool.

Hemp balm, that's right

Could've used more peppermint to disguise the harsh hemp smell... I was like lol when I saw the warning that it contained small amounts of THC- In my country you'd probably get in trouble for that if the parcel is stopped, opened and checked at customs. Didn't give me the moisturizing I need. Packaging looks like if it's home made, but the sun face is happy so I guess it's cool. Won't buy Hemp balm again.

Badger has to work his magic somewhere else

I didn't really care for this. I love the bagder, I believe he is a nice guy, and the smell is nice too. But I need a lasting, mosturizing lip balm and this just slips off and leaves me with chapped lips. Not cool.

Disgusting smell

I truly, deeply and absolutely HATE this. The smell. I can't even. It is sickening sweet in an awful, buttery way. I don't know why I expected a bitter cocoa scent, but this has put me off chocolat-y products for a long time. I can't even open the jar without making faces. It smells kinda like those instant-hot chocolate powders you stir around in hot water. And I need to open a window. The product itself, if you can block out smells, and handle the ridiculously funky tub (I mean how do you open this when your hands are wet? I can barely reach around it, it is huge...) is ok. It gives a gentle+ scrub, doesn't dry you out, bla-bla-bla. If you want to be in misery whenever showering, buy this. I'm getting rid of mine.

Good for skin, great price

I warm up a tiny bit in my palm and use overnight as a lip balm. When you warm it up the little pearls in it disappear. All real shea butters act like this. The residues in my hand goes on the cuticles (Cuticles love shea). Very good on chapped, dry skin, like the kind you can get on your feet or elbows.

Coconut in a jar

Posted on Jul 28, 2012

Purchased at iHerb

Tastes and smells like coconut. Great product, and lots of it. Comes in solid form, but melts in room temperature. I use this both in cooking, like in raw chocolate, and in my hair for moisture and shine. I like the quality of this brand and that it is extra virgin, and I will probably purchase the same product when I run out.

As good as any

Little, yellow flakes with health benefits. I acidentally ordered two of these, they are huge and now I will have nutritional yeast forever! Nutritional yeast has kind of a cheese-flavor, and I use it as an additive in cooking.
