Nutribiotic Fresh Fruit Shower Gel

I love the natural smell of this, not artificial smelling at all. I use this to wash my normal-oily hair as well instead of shampoo. The price at iherb is great!

Dead Sea Mud Soap Bar

Posted on Jul 10, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

This is the best soap I have found! I have been looking and trying many natural bar soaps, but many are made with multiple oils, which is just too greasy for my oily skin and my skin doesn't feel clean. I use this on my face in the morning, as well as the rest of my body in the shower. It cleanses my oily skin without drying, and the price is great for the size bar that it is!! I was hoping it would have a little bit of a cinnamin-y scent, but if it does, it's very faint. I order this bar with each iherb order so I will always have it. So far, it is my favorite soap for my oily skin.

Florasone

This works quite well to relieve the itching and swelling of eczema on my inner thighs. But it seems to wear off by evening, the itching returns. May try applying twice a day.

Black Hills Honey Farm Unscented Honey Balm

Good basic lip balm, doesn't irritate my lips, but I don't use it consistently. It doesn't last really long, however. Not a shiney lip balm.

Out of Africa, Body Oil, Grapefruit

Posted on Mar 01, 2012

I am using this on my upper torso to help prevent stretchmarks during pregnancy. I like it; I put it on damp skin so it won't be so greasy (as directions suggest). It is irritating my skin a little, but nothing serious, could be the fragrance/essential oil. I would buy again, but will try another oil first.

Kolorex Foot & Toe Cream

Posted on Aug 15, 2011

Purchased at iHerb

I had been searching for a good, natural foot cream that is not oily/greasy, and this did the trick--I am in love! It sinks right in, and seems to do the job. It was very hard to find a product like this--many (perhaps all?) conventional foot creams have parabens and/or urea in them, so I was excited to come across this. The downside is the size of the product for the price. If the tube were twice the size, the price would be fine. Or even if it just came in a larger size at all, that would be great.

Too light/whitish

Posted on Feb 23, 2014

Purchased at iHerb

I have light/fair skin. I'm disappointed that this concealer applies very light--even in the tube it looks the color of the swatch iHerb has above, but goes on almost colorless. And iHerb discontinued the Beige one, which was perfect :( I like concealer to blend in with my skin, I don't like under my eyes to appear "white&bright" compared to the rest of my skin; it doesn't look natural. Otherwise, the concealer works well, it's not a heavy coverage. It is a bit dry or thin or something, and sits in my pores a bit. I don't know if I will re-order this due to the color. FYI: iHerb's photos/color swatches seem to be darker than the product actually is.

Heavier than Mineral Silk

Posted on Feb 23, 2014

Purchased at iHerb

This powder is a much lighter color when applied than the color swatch above. It is also heavier and seemed to sit on my skin, unlike Larenim's Mineral Silk (light-medium is perfect for my skin coloring). It would be better coverage than the Mineral Silk. It doesn't have oil-absorbing properties--I always use loose powder (Aubrey Silken Earth!) on top. I will try the 3-NM shade to see if I like it. This shade was so light for me that it didn't look natural, didn't blend in. FYI: iHerb's color swatches seem to be darker than the actual product.

Larenim Mineral Silk Pressed Powder Lt Med

Posted on Jul 13, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I bought this powder because of the non-chemical/harmful ingredients and the low price compared to the MAC powder I have been using. I wasn't going to re-purchase, but I am now due to budget. But, I realized, for a mineral powder, this works exceptionally well in respect to the fact that all other mineral powders sit on top of my oily skin and "float" there once my skin gets greasy. This does not do that. It blends into my skin well, it's not whitish or overly powdery looking (it does look perfect once it sinks in, whereas MAC Careblend looks perfect upon application, for comparison) and I think it gives a nice sheer-light coverage. It only seems to cake up mildly on my cheeks for some reason, especially under blush. My only, and biggest, complaint and why I wasn't going to re-purchase, is that it gives zero oil/shine control. But, I realized if I use a finishing powder, that solves the problem. So I am now trying to decide on a finishing powder. This powder has a nice creamy fine texture, I would recommend it to others looking for a mineral powder that works with oily skin.

It works!!

Posted on Sep 02, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

As an oil controlling finishing powder, this works! This works as well as my MAC loose powder. At 12 hours or more, my skin isn't even greasy to the touch, and I have used it several different times. I use it on top of Larenim pressed powder. My complaints: when I first apply, it looks like I dusted my face with flour, if I apply too heavily (I've found it still works at controlling oil even with a lighter application that does not make my face white. It looks natural.) It has a fluffy consistency similar to flour, and leaves a white outline at my hair line (not with a lighter application). It clumps up on top of my concealer. It seems to settle into pores and dry skin, emphasizing them (temporarily), but again, not so much with a light application. I wish the powder had a bit more color; it's very light. Perhaps then it wouldn't look like I was baking and got flour on my face. This is not for dry skin. All in all, I'm liking it, it's great for everday, but for an evening out, I'll still have to use my MAC liquid loose powder.

Mad Hippie Eye Cream

Posted on Jun 27, 2013

Purchased at iHerb

I chose this because the ingredients are great. It's a nice, medium-weight moisturizing cream, sinks in well, but perhaps just slightly too heavy for my oily/combination skin. I like it alright, except my make-up doesn't go over it smoothly, it doesn't blend in and so the concealer sits on top of my skin, kind of in small spots or streaks and crumbles when I try to smudge it in; that's why I think it's too heavy for my skin. I don't care for a pump dispenser either. I won't re-purchase this product. I prefer the Earth Science i-cream instead, for price and performance.
