I hope my reviews will be helpful in assisting you to choose your products. I'm dealing with overlapping illnesses, so a lot of symptoms to treat. I try to review things that are not listed and hard to figure out online such as packaging type (is that bottle safe glass or is it toxic-plastic?) and contents (does that tea have a staple, string or simply pressed together?). Please keep in mind that I live in Southern California and that arid weather is very different than humid so, things that work for me, such as moisturizers or creams, might be too rich for you. Also skin types differ, I'm both oily and dry currently so I try to indicate all that. Welcome to my page and hope you find some fun, helpful or delicious products you hadn't tried before.

Plumps out lines from the inside out

I gave a better review for this when I bought the 60 caps and it made my top reviews at the time. No more need for creams: this stuff plumps out lines and depressions from the inside out. I heard some doctor on TV say that babies "have a ton of hyaluronic acid" except they were hawking some HA creams. Well, I've tried HA on my face & it does not help. But this right here is amazing! I hope it never sells out.

I don't know how good this is

They say Na-RALA is better than ALA but I don't get it. I take it when I have a bit of sugar, chocolate milk, so as to avoid crosslinkage of collagen and to detox from heavy metals at the same time. Not sure if it's better than my old ALA in fact I can't feel anything from either but I still look a good 15 years younger. Then again I take a truckload of supplements, most double as antioxidants, and I never ever ingest chemicals or use vital stuff that is packaged in plastics.

The Alchemist's Secret: transform mood & room karma with a spritz of this relaxing elixir!

Although this is not the pure French lavender scent I'm familiar with and prefer, after a while I got used to this scent. I used it during a phase of mental chaos and panic attacks and I must say, it's very comforting and soothing. I have read that bees who pollinate the lavender fields get so drunk on the nectar that they let people pet them. And that if one wants to help and attract bees, one ought to plant lavender in their garden. On an energetic level, lavender acts as a transmuting force for good. For those into chakras and etheric bodies, this is extremely powerful and yet very gentle and subtly transformational. Of course, this is not going to put out an insomniac, particularly when there's hormonal issues and/or nutritional deficiencies, but nevertheless, if you let it, it will ease your mind a bit of obsessive or persisting thoughts. A few sprays might be necessary. The aluminum can means the sprays will always be very cool. When I mist my body, I find it leaves no sticky residue and the skin is instantly dry (but then again, I live in the mainly arid, desert climate of Southern California). The scent does linger a bit, which is a surprise as natural EOs are naturally volatile and this is a top note which is very ephemeral. All in all, an excellent product. I'm withdrawing a star because I prefer the true French lavender, because of the aluminum can (would prefer glass for safety reasons since I was diagnosed with aluminum toxicity already) and because it is not organic. Although, to me, it has room for improvement, the effects are immediate and pretty impressive. I use it as a room spritz as well as body spray. If the smell disappoints you like it did me at first, keep trying it, it gets better, or at least it did for me. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!

No major results here but no side effects either

Seems to work but not sure. I do need to supplement with extra B's for homocysteine balance as B complex doesn't do anything for me in that regards whereas individual B vites taken together work amazingly well. Back to this pill: I initially divided the cap in 2 but even now that I take a full one, I don't have any reaction to niacin, the potency is too low to be able to cause flushing from what I read, it's higher dosage that cause the problem, unless someone would have pre-existing conditions to make them super sensitive to it. I'm not sure I've seen any benefits, I might go back to Country Life brand because I read lots of negative reviews on here about Jarrow's B12 changed formula which led me to some searching and I found some questionable reports about Jarrow's owner and his being very rude to his customers. I'm not sure what to make of it and someone might not care but I found it disturbing enough not to want to have anything to do with the company. In the meantime, I've already switched my B12 from Jarrow to Solgar and that works much, much better so maybe these reviews (posted here on iHerb at Jarrow's B12) are right after all.

This is mild dark taste, not bitter and the salt just adds a bit of kick but overall it's sweet. I didn't buy this for years as I didn't want any salt in my chocolate. The almonds are not hurting my very sensitive teeth so far. I might repurchase. 3 stars because it's not organic and not really spectacular like the one iHerb sadly stopped carrying, the ginger candy one.

Nothing natural, loaded w/toxic ingredients!

Currently shopping for natural B complex. Happened on this item and I'm utterly shocked: not only is there 0 indication that the B vitamins come from 100% natural, non-GMO, non-synthetic source, the "other ingredients" are highly toxic! Just google each one of them and you will see clearly the dangers & the side effects for: Dicalcium Phosphate, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid, Silicon Dioxide, Dextrin, Magnesium Stearate, Titanium Dioxide. Unfortunately the magnesium stearate is one that is hard to avoid but the rest on the list are far more toxic! Why buy a supplement that causes migraines & possibly cancer?

Make no mistake: this vitamin is 100% pure SOY!

Posted on Nov 02, 2009

Label says it all "d-Alpha Gems is a Natural-source Vitamin E derived from soybean oil" Later they claim it's soy-free. Who are they kidding? You don't take a pork chop, put it in a blender, filter it and then call it vegan. And $81 for this travesty?! Sorry. You can't claim something is soy-free when it comes EXCLUSIVELY from soy. That is ridiculous! Maybe they have removed the common soy-allergens but for those of us who are avoiding soy for other reasons, the xenoestrogens are 100% still in this vitamin. Soy is a highly toxic food! Just google soy + dangers. Be informed! Waiting for someone manufacture vitamin E pills from egg yolks, olives or avocados.

Save your money: it does NOT work on 100% cotton!

And why use a chemical-free detergent unless you also wear chemical-free fabrics!? I'm not sure why anyone would bother with that but if you, too, have MCS and can only wear natural fabrics, save your money: it doesn't do anything at all! I tried it on a dirty white shirt (grayed cuffs as if I'd moped the floor with them, no idea how that happened): didn't work. I tried it on the collar: same thing and I tried it on a small tomato stain: it didn't budge one bit! :-/ I don't know why this thing has 4.5 stars from nearly 500 reviews but here you have my honest review on 100% untreated Pima cotton. I guess the one star can make itself useful: it is completely unscented and caused me no reaction whatsoever... but what good is it!?

NOT VEGAN: comes from sheep's lanolin!

Editing my review: just got off the phone with HO and they told me that this vitamin comes from sheep's wool! 2 free samples of this D sold me on this D: I ordered a bottle because it's an excellent vitamin D (my Dr. said I was very deficient) and it protects against colds & (swine) flu. It's best to take 1 pill x4/day. If taking too much of any D at once, it is too strong a diuretic. Best to split it up during the day, all day protection that way.

I prefer DeSouza's liquid chlorophyll but they, much like salad dressing manufacturers, insist on making the opening too big so you spill way too much so that you waste it and their sales go up. So I stopped buying the liquid. (The stains can be permanent on your countertops). This is ok. Works well as internal deodorant, detox, antioxidant and more. DeSouza's chloro. in caps has more pure ingredients but iHerb so far doesn't carry it.

I take this with vitamin E for activation and against leg vein pain & poor circulation. It helps. I take 3 per day. It's also a potent antioxidant that is said to prevent and reverse wrinkles. I'm taking a lot of skin supplements & I've seen a remarkable improvement in the skin of my face.

The Cadillac of B vitamins... and the only 1 I can absorb

Posted on Mar 06, 2013

7 people found the following review helpful

Purchased at iHerb

I have malabsorption syndrome caused by candida. I'm basically deficient in all nutrients which is causing tons of life-threatening problems such as internal organ failure etc.. B vitamins, along with magnesium, is the most critical to me to maintain life at this stage. This is the only B vitamin that my system will absorb *some*, so I need to take more than the average person. I really wish they would remove the soy though, I already take sunflower lecithin so this is not needed and is probably GMO. We live in a very toxic world. Unfortunately for me, it's either take this with the GMO frankensoy lecithin or well, you know. Live now and pay later? I still give this 5 stars but you make your decision according to where you're at with what you know.
