A molasses that tastes like.....molasses. Very full bodied, not overly sweet. For those looking for a concentrated SWEETENER, watch out. There is no added sugar content in this product, it's a straight byproduct of cane processing (which is what molasses is), very rich, slightly sweet. Tastes all-natural.

Is the "Vitamin Code" effective as a full-spectrum food-based daily supplement? Maybe it's all a bunch of marketing hype. Garden of Life certainly specializes in marketing. To be fair, taking this liquid does feel impactful. There's a rush, which is saying a lot. However, BEWARE. This stuff has a sickly sweet, sharp chemical taste that's mildly reminiscent of vomit. And I mean SHARP chemical taste. But you'd never anticipate that. Why? Because the label says "Great Taste!!! Delicious Orange-Mango Flavor." The sickly sweetness is provided by the #1 ingredient, vegetable glyerin, which is almost pure sugar, except that the bottle says "Sugar Free." Like I said, Garden of Life is primarily a marketing company. That makes supplements. If only drinking this stuff were not actually required to experience the benefits. And no, I'm not going to take the time to tray to load it into capsules. Maybe someone at G of L will start taking it, gag on it, be forced to admit how bad it tastes and find a way to fix it.

Concentrated scent, non-slippery oil, seems to be as advertised. Does work effectively topically to kill microbes, that I can attest to. The scent, by the way, is an "acquired taste" for those not familiar with it.

Coconut oil is useful stuff, both internally and externally. In fact, out of all options, it's my favorite suntan oil. All the commercial crap is variously toxic and may be carcinogenic. If you're on this site, you know that by now. Pure coconut oil, conversely, is what traditional Ayurveda recommends for sun exposure. It actually feeds the skin, and it's cooling by nature. Then when you get back into the kitchen, it's good for making stirfries too. How versatile is that?

It's good, it works, it tastes OK. Is toothpaste supposed to be more than that?

I can only hope that this stuff does what vit D3 is supposed to do. And does it? How should I know. Nothing's fallen off yet.

If it turns my hair dark again, it's a winner. Way too early to tell yet. Check back after 3 more bottles. Tastes like water. I can just pray that what should be in here actually is, but isn't that how it is with all supplements? Let's be honest with ourselves people. iHerb makes a mint off us guessing and hoping. They know that. At least the prices are good.
