One of my best beauty buys both on and off iHerb. Enter code WIS534 to receive $10 off your first order :) Peacekeeper's polish remover really deserves more love. I rarely give reviews but was so impressed that for a thorough review, I tested this for a month on all sorts of polishes. It works like a dream on cream, jelly, metallic, holographic and fine shimmer polishes. Polishes with larger specks of shimmer do take a some effort but nothing too significant. Large glitter polishes however, couldn't be removed the usual way. However, using this with the Foil Method (Google please) softens the glitter enough to be easily scraped off without hurting the nail, and any remaining polish can be swiftly removed in less than a minute. Sally Hansen's Gentle remover showed the same results when used on glitter polishes. Instructions recommend holding for 30 seconds but I find that immediately rubbing it gently, polish starts to come off in about 10. Sure removal does take a little longer (read 5 - 10 mins depending on polish) with this than with the usual acetone-based remover but the benefits of this far outweigh the convenience of regular removers. For one, this doesn't really evaporate. I managed to use 1 application for 1 hand. The smell is subtle and reminiscent of a sweet, slightly herbal infusion which doesn't irritate my sinuses - great for if you have young children, pets or elderly at home. Nails felt moisturized after this. I pair this with Nutra Nail Natural Cuticle Remover and I've seen a positive difference in nail health.
