I'm sure this is a great soap for many reasons as all those five star reviews attest. But I can't get past the smell. It is just too much for me. I lightly used it last night for a whole body wash, hoping that the smell would naturally dissipate. I got up this morning, went into the den, and could still smell it on me. Even the box, that I left in the kitchen last night, exudes that smell.

The first time I mixed half a packet of Xclear into a solution of warm water. It burned like blazes going through each nostril. I figured maybe I needed to shake up the packet in case I just got salt the first time. The next time I used half of the half packet, and it still burned; so I mixed in some extra baking soda from the kitchen. Then it was okay. But I should not have to do this at all. I will thoroughly shake the next packet to make sure I get a better mix of the three ingredients, but I only want to use this once a week because salt and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) can actually dry out sinus tissue. Personally, I prefer the Xclear nasal spray so far. It's much easier to use, but you can't get total irrigation with the spray. Ernest

You have to experiment with with substitutes for butter and milk if you prefer non-dairy. Also, go easy on the salt!

Mix one tsp with 1 tsp of organic cinnamon and you have an immune system booster. Get ready for cold and flu season now.

Something like this has to be used for a least three months to see if it makes a difference. Plus cause and effect make it very difficult to isolate a specific improvement since causality is non-linear, e.g., A causes B may not always apply; we are only just learning now through physics that causality is non-linear. That's why doctors are having trouble curing so many diseases: they are treating symptoms, i.e., the "effects" of a condition not the causes which are too complex using the linear medical model. A disease can never be cured by treating its symptoms (effects) alone. That's why we have ambiguous words such as "remission" which just buy time, rather than address the real cause. December 22, 2011 - Howard Beach, NY (aka Queens)Checked with the supplement company because of the danger of radiation contamination in Japan that has effected parts of their air, water, and soil. Not from Japan or China. Using it for prostate issues, and possible repair of damaged DNA which causes abnormal white blood cell proliferation. I will have a clearer picture in six months.
