I'd been having issues with soft stools and hemorrhoids for several months. I eat fiber, fresh vegetables and fruit so I was at a loss as to what to do.I read that diatomaceous earth (human grade) which is mostly silica helped to shrink and heal hemorrhoidal tissue. So I decided to try the Now Foods Silica Complex ads I thought a pill would be a more pleasant way to take the silica. Much to my surprise I began to notice an improvement within four days of taking one silica tablet 2 -3 times a day. It's been several weeks now and everything has normalized. I am amazed at what silica did to alleviate my problem. It is supposed to be beneficial for the skin, hair, nails and joints as well ... I will report back to see if I notice any changes.

Natural Factors Bromelain is a most effective product for post operative swelling and bruising! My doctor recommended two 500mg capsules 3 times daily (3000 mg daily) beginning two weeks prior to surgery (for a major tummy tuck) and for a month following surgery. Amazingly enough, I had barely any bruising and I found the Bromelain really helped with post-operative swelling.

Ascorbyl Palmitate is a fat soluble form of Vitamin C. Because of this it is more stable and will not be flushed right out of your system like Ascorbic Acid which is water soluble. It may be a more effective antioxident as well.

CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant and it's thought to be helpful in preventing or treating age related diseases. Human beings produce coenzyme Q-10 but our ability to produce it begins to decline as early as age 20. Some researchers speculate might help prevent degenerative brain disease such as Alzheimer's or Lou Gehrig's disease. One physical change I've have seen is improvement in my skin since adding 400 mg of CoQ10 to my supplement regime.

I am so happy to find NATURAL vitamin E in 200 iu which is perfect for supplementing E in my dog's diet. Vitamin E and Ascorbyl Palmitate (Esterfied C) are thought to aid in the prevention and help in the treatment of hip dysplasia in dogs.

This is particular 30 mg Co-Q10 from Jarrow a manufacturer with an excellent reputation for producing the highest quality vitamins and supplements is the perfect dose to give on a daily basis to my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It improves the utilization of oxygen at the cellular level and people with heart, muscle, and nerve problems are often helped by it...sometimes dramatically. Certainly this well priced Co-Q10 in the suggested dose (30 -60 mg) for a 15-25 lb dog is worth giving to dogs with a propensity toward heart problems such as Cavaliers.
