The standard recommended dose for saw palmetto is 320 mg, usually taken as two 160 mg soft gels. It's a bonus to find saw palmetto in a 320 mg gelcap. One less pill to take.

Keeps e coli infections at bay. But important to remember that it doesn't work against all other bacteria, such as P. Stuarti,a common hospital acquired infection, often the result of an indwelling urine catheter.

Symbiotics, Colostrum Plus, 240 Capsules

Not as effective as Gastroshield

Gastroshield, a fabulous but under advertised colostrum product that prevented constipation when taking pain medications, was discontinued by Symbiotics. Plain colostrum Plus (plus = lipid coating) is a good product, but doesn't stop the constipation associated with pain medication. Nor has anything else Symbiotics has recommended.
