Probably good for a more durable body.

The pills seem large; but they go down easy relatively, if swallowed long-side first, because of its more flat shape, & its texture. They seem to help make my body more durable. I took these for a few weeks--and then I unexpectedly got into an accident a month ago, hitting my head at a speed of 25+mph on the driver's side window (thereafter spinning clockwise 390 degrees, bending a street sign, and ultimately rested on the grass) by someone who utterly ignored a stop sign. And I felt relatively fine, and still seem fine, compared to what could have happened. (It felt a little rougher than being tackled illegally, during a nonrecurring bout of anarchic high school football that I so happened to assimilate myself toward only once.) I attribute this benefit to this supplement over other supplements, since the structure/aesthetic of the caplets seems to correspond to the durability that they should be providing.

BM ease

Since taking this, Rain Nutrition's "Cat's Claw Bark", and Nature's Way's "Opti-MSM", I've had perfect BMs which haven't been that way for half a dozen years or more. I've taken other brands of CCB and MSM -- some of which were effective, though not so much in the BM department. Thus maybe astragalus has had a major hand in it. I've been done with my business in record times.

So yummy

This is my initial reaction I told some people: ... "freaking cod liver oil was freaking delicious. like infinite health being washed down everything. i want to cry an eternal river." ; Maybe it doesn't taste as exciting as foods laced with MSG. But there must have been some massive, healthy exuberance resonating all things that embody the perfect me, which forces it to taste as good as it does. Anyway, I would appreciate, though, if someone could point out what the directions mean. I don't know what "Take 1/2 teaspoon daily with meals" means. What does that mean, to play us out? Come on now, correct your grammar. How in the world do you "take one daily teaspoon with all of your meals"? That makes it sound like taking the supplement and eating meals are two completely unrelated (yet important) events. I know I'm supposed to use my brain for things not literally accurate, but even then I can't figure it out. Not providing fully accurate directions is the number one worst field of the entire supplements industry, akin to designing a blueprint for a boat but leaving out almost all components required to build it. Also, I'm not too sure about the use of an aluminum-looking foil seal (that needs to be cut prior to pouring the oil) to provide the preserving vacuum.

Not good for my teeth.

I'm disappointed, considering the brand name. I would rate this product with 2 stars. But, it could be useful for those with larger gaps in between their teeth. As for my teeth, this product does not feel good at all. Granted, it doesn't completely tear apart, not even for awhile; but it absolutely feels like it's tearing apart every single time that I put it between my teeth. Also, though it shows no visible sign of tearing, until near the end of my flossing, I must reiterate that it feels bad. ... Negatives aside, its grip, as far as holding it with both hands, is quite good, quite more flexible than any I've tried. I feel comfortable navigating it throughout my mouth --- just not between, specifically, my teeth. ... Anyway, for those with very narrow teeth gaps, as mine are, the only dental floss that works for me so far is "Glide" by Crest -- literally no problem with breaking. ... [However, even so, I'll soon be going to the website cosmeticsdatabase.com, in order to find the best dental floss---with the least amount of toxicity (if it's even possible to have toxicity in a floss!), alongside being just as tough as Glide.]

No effect.

I took Solaray "Pure MSM" – a seemingly lesser quality formula, even having magnesium stearate just as this formula does – and I performed my job at optimum output. Thus, I was excited to try this Opti-MSM. ... However, I have not felt any improvement. Or, at the very most there were incredibly insignificant amounts of relief—even after ingesting 4 or 5 capsules. Unbelievably disappointing, considering how the few forms I've tried of MSM, even with one being a tablet, have improved my inner-body greatly. ... I'm about to try Nature's Way Opti-MSM that has no binders or excipients, hoping that there is still the chance for me to absorb OptiMSM properly (since my body might be responsible for this lack of OptiMSM's effect). ... In any scenario, Magnesium Stearate is a 'flowing agent', that helps speed up the manufacturing process – but has no benefit for health, and most probably even a negative effect. It is especially dumbfounding that MSM—which seems to be structurally similar to magnesium stearate—even ever has this literal chalkboard chalk of an industrial health waste. (If you consume a spoonful of it, it's a deadly poison.) ... Also, I am interested in trying out Paradise Herbs brand—of this, seemingly, same exact form of Opti-MSM, yet without it having magnesium stearate etc. But for now, as said, I will experiment with the Nature's Way formula.
