Good value for a lot of HCL in a form that's easily available

The trouble with some HCL supplements is that they are in pill form - and if you're taking HCL pills are not the easiest thing to break down. Meaning you probably don't see as much of the HCL in your stomach as quickly as you'd want. These are capsules containing powder so they melt easily. They are also about three times the strength per capsule of most of the other HCL supplements out there so if you have to take several of some other brand, there are less to take with these. As a bonus they contain pepsin and the reckoning out there (by people like Chris Kresser) is that both should be taken together.

Pleasant to let dissolve and relatively small

I take sub-lingual tabs under my cheek against my gums. They are far less intrusive than under my tongue and I can forget about them and let them dissolve into my blood stream (which is far, far more efficient than swallowing them). These have a nice taste and are sweetened with a tiny amount of sorbitol and mannitol which are used in sugar free gum so won't rot your teeth (or upset your innards since it's such a tiny amount).

Since this is a yeast (don't worry it won't "give you" Candida - that's a different kind of yeast!) it's not affected by antibiotics. So you can get all the probiotic benefits whilst taking a course.

To me it tasted like pure mineral water. Whereas my wife could hardly wait to get rid of it! I was advised that three months of Zinc Picolinate at 50MG daily should get me tasting it.

Taste nice - seems to make a big difference

These sit under the lip or tongue and are pleasantly fruity (from a trace of xylitol - so it won't rot your teeth and there isn't enough to upset innards). The methyl form is one of the two "active" forms that the body doesn't need to alter before use. I've been sleeping really well and have much improved digestion after a fortnight of taking them. Seems I was low in B12 for sure!

Although I bought these for hiking in hot weather - they were very useful on a recent trip that didn't involve any sport - just rather too much coffee and alcohol! Slipped down easily and certainly re-hydrated me well.

I've tried other digestive enzymes from reputable companies - nothing touches these. My stomach was rather messed up after some emotional stress followed by severe food poisoning. I'd tried everything to get back on track (no grains, no dairy, no legumes, no alcohol, no coffee, no chocolate, some prebiotics and positively heroic levels of probiotics). As soon as I started taking these, everything came right. Astonishing.
