economical; good size for children and for those starting with D-3 who don't want to risk "mega-doses"; gels mean the vitamin is absorbed better than tablets

5 oz is much bigger than I thought. Quite economical. This one is so rich that I sometimes use it for shaving. But it's not oily or "gunky".

For anyone starting out with niacin, I think this is the right size. And importantly it's straight niacin, rather than fancy stuff like sustained release or no-flush, which some doctors say are a waste of money or even dangerous.

After taking this product, I found I had difficulty urinating. The makers and iherb need to give more information about how it works and what conditions it is helpful for.
