Helps with sugar cravings

My sweetie takes this more often than I do. I tend to take it only when I am having a big pasta meal. Easy to swallow, helps with sugar cravings. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Heal well! :)

Helps a LOT with pain, inflammation, stiffness

My sweetie and I both love them, and each find benefit for separate health issues and body parts that act up. When I go without it for too long between orders I feel like my knees are just grinding bone on bone. When I stay on top of my issues with supplements like Doctor's Best Glucosamine Chondroitin I feel much better and I walk so fast that my friends can't keep up. :) Always check in with your own doctor/healing team to make sure that a supplement (or dosage) is right for you.

Excellent adaptogen revered for thousands of years, recommended by LLMD

Holy Basil (Tulsi) is an adaptogenic herb. Someone in my life has chronic Lyme, and their LLMD suggested adding Tulsi to the anti-Lyme herbal tea they drink, along with a traditional Western medicine approach. LLMD stands for "Lyme literate medical doctor," someone who has more experience in diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. It manifests differently in people, often with different co-infections, so what is right for one (or at one stage of the game) might not be right for another. The Tulsi was recommended for anxiety. It can help with the effects of too much cortisol in the body. I know I myself am an over user of coffee, and even that produces a lot of cortisol for me. If you have adrenal burn-out, check in with your own doctor or health practitioners to see if Tulsi/Holy Basil might be right for you. Herbs work differently for folks, and for some Holy Basil is more of a stimulant (and can make them feel jittery or keep them awake) and others report it helps them to sleep. It can depend on what else you take it with, what time of day, etc., so some tweaking might be in order. Adaptogens work in a slower way in the body, so it may take a while for you to feel the full effects. This is a brand I like and trust. There is a lot of information available on this herb, so do your research. The number of health conditions it is used for on people and animals is astounding. There are different types of Holy Basil, and dosage will differ not only based on health condition but which type of the herb. I believe this is an herb to avoid if pregnant or trying to get pregnant, but if that is the case with you I hope you are working closely with your health team anyway to make sure that what you ingest is safe and right for you. Heal well! :)

Highly recommended for anti-viral support

I don't use Nature's Answer Sambucus (nigra) Black Elderberry extract any longer, as I have to watch all forms of sugar in my diet. Vegetable glycerine and the elderberry fruit are the only sweeteners here, not added white sugar. The taste is great, not sugary-sweet like some of the other popular brands. I will always recommend this product to others. I experienced much anti-viral benefit when I used it, and didn't have the number of sick days my coworkers experienced during flu season.

Oxygenating and chelating benefits and much more

There is a little booklet called "Germanium: A New Approach to Immunity" that I bought for a few dollars to learn more about this mineral. I was initially interested because of reported oxygen enhancing benefits, and there are many other reported health benefits as well. Do your research, and check with your own health team to see if this supplement may be right for you.

Antiviral wellness in a bottle

I love elderberry extract. It has kept me and my loved ones well when others around us were felled by colds and coughs. I have cut sugar way out of my eating plan, though, so the delicious Sambucol syrup I used to use is no longer an option for me. I'm very grateful to be able to get the healing goodness of elderberry in easy to take tablets, sugar-free. I love this Wellness line of products, each one I have tried is outstanding.

Smells like heaven, excellent for cooking and beauty care

I love coconut oil for stir fries and curries, and I don't find the mild taste to interfere with my other cooking. Great for beauty products as well--my hair and skin love it! Here in Vermont it stays solid not liquid much of the year, though it melts easily.

LLMD recommended to help with toxins, herxes

Someone in my life has chronic Lyme, and is finally seeing a Lyme literate MD (LLMD) after many years of misdiagnosis and lack of treatment. I had only heard of activated charcoal being used in hospitals for people who overdose on medication, so I was skeptical. The charcoal binds the toxins and helps to pass them out of the body. It binds whatever else as well, so take a couple hours apart from whatever medication and supplements you are taking, with plenty of water. I have used internally and broke open a capsule to use externally on spider bites, etc. Please do not EVER put off going to the ER for any medical emergency. An important addition to any medicine cabinet. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Heal well! :)

Not Thieves, but I like it for what it is

I like to use Medieval Mix in a mister bottle of water to freshen up my office. I love "Thieves" oil, and this recipe is supposed to be based on a similar mix...way less expensive, doesn't smell the same, but still fresh and nice. I trust Aura Cacia products, and I like that my room smells clean and not at all perfumey. I would *not* use this internally as I might Thieves diluted as a mouthwash, etc.

I bought these on Super Special, and the price just could not be beat. I can't see myself buying the Just Once Women's One again though, even on Super Special. I find them very, very hard to swallow--they are hard, dry and large.

A miracle for my pain reduction!

Years ago my former doctor wanted to prescribe pain pills for my fibromyalgia and intense chronic pain. I never accepted a prescription as I always felt that for me pain pills might be a sort of slippery slope. What if the pain got worse over the years and they no longer helped--then what would I do? I took too much Advil for years just to make do, but my gut definitely suffered from that. I always prefer to go the natural route when possible, but I had just not found anything that could take the place of my multiple OTC pain meds. Zyflamend became one of those natural supplements that took the place of OTC pain medication for me, and has helped to keep me from needing anything prescribed. I respect this brand, and I trust the product because I have experienced the benefits firsthand. My sweetie swears by his glucosamine and chondroitin, but for my pain issues Zyflamend and Wobenzym work best. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Heal well! :)

I wish I had this when I broke bones in the past!

I found this ointment very helpful in healing from sprains, sports injuries, low back ache, etc. Comfrey salve is excellent for topical use in cases of ligament pain, inflammation and even broken bones. No strong scents, and it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I take Christopher's Original Formula Complete Tissue & Bone capsules at the same time for speedier effect. Check with your own doctor or health practitioner to make sure that a product is right for you. Don't forget to refrigerate as directed. Here's to your good health and healing!
