Great price for Organic Ceylon Cinnamon!

I have a hard time finding organic Ceylon Cinnamon in local stores, especially at a great price like this. It wasn't too long ago that I learned that not all cinnamon is created equal, and that Ceylon cinnamon, also known as "true cinnamon" had the health benefits as well as complex taste I was seeking. Delicious, smoother and almost sweeter compared to Cassia cinnamon. I use it daily when I brew coffee to take out the bitterness.

Skin looks fantastic!

I bought the Jarrow Toco-Sorb as I read that the absorbability was much better for this form of Vitamin E. My cholesterol levels are fantastic, and I believe that alternating high quality vitamin E has helped with that. I have read pros and cons about palm oil over the years, so do your research to decide if this seems like a good supplement for your own health issues. Heal well! :)

Very, very calming and soothing

I have loved this beautifully scented lavender oil for so many purposes. Years ago I worked at a flower shop, and we kept some very diluted in a spray bottle full of water behind the counter. When it was a hectic florist holiday or we just needed a little "ahhhhhhhh!" we would spritz some into the air around us, and all would sigh happily and relax. The wonderful light fresh scent would not clash or compete with the smells of fresh flowers, plants or wet earth in the store. Spritzed in the bedroom at night it's relaxing and soothing. You can also use it to make inexpensive but pampering gifts like Epsom salt or sugar based scrubs that you can package in a pretty jar tied with a ribbon. Add some carrier oil and lavender with or without other scents. Recipes are widely available online. Most essential oils need some dilution to be used on the skin without irritating, but many folks who have sensitive skin can use lavender undiluted. Try it diluted first and/or do a patch test on your skin. Very helpful also for healing scars. I highly recommend this oil.

My sweetie feels it his hands when he goes without

This may be one of those products that could take you a little while to notice that it makes a big difference, yet try to go without it and the positive benefits are very clear. My sweetie and I are getting to be the age where it feels like the warranty on some of our parts is up, and knees are at the top of the list. For him it's also fingers, and without this product he starts to experience a lot more pain and stiffness in his knuckles. With it he is much more comfortable and able to do more. We have rotated brands but this one is amazing.

A brand I trust, and this version is very hard to find in stores

I have been using Similisan products for years. My eyes are very sensitive, and tend to get very dry. Opthalmologists have always told me to get "natural tears" or products without preservatives which can further irritate, but most of the ones they recommend rely heavily on glycerin, which I don't want to out in my eyes--yuck! Similisan offers a range of excellent homeopathic eye drops, and I use several of them. I also like their Allergy Eye Relief, Dry Eye Relief, and Irritated Eye Relief. They have products for styes and pink eye too, which I have not used. Look up your own symptoms and the corresponding homeopathic remedies suggested, then check the ingredient panel on the back of the Similisan box, as each formulation is different. I rotate through several of their products depending on what symptom is presenting most acutely for me. Although I have such sensitive and dry eyes to begin with, I make my own situation worse be working all day on a computer at work, and then "relaxing" on a computer at home, all of which is very hard on my eyes. The Computer Eye Relief is a welcome relief when I suffer from eyestrain. I can usually find several of the other Similisan eye drops at any health food store and nowadays at many drug stores, but for some reason the Computer Eye Relief is normally not carried in nearby stores, so I buy it here. I also try to supplement well with omega 3's, which help to lubricate my eyes. My ophthalmologist always recommends that too. Take good care of the windows to your soul! :)

I always keep it on hand for the kitchen and medicine cabinet

I have been using this product for many years, originally suggested by my Naturopath. I use it in rinse water for fruits and veggies to clean and disinfect from potential germs, pesticides, e coli, etc. I use it to similarly disinfect counters and floors, washable air filters, on and on, just a bit diluted in water. It's super bitter, FYI. I have used directly on stubborn skin issues, but in general do dilute a bit or a lot. There is a lot of good info out there about using it to help to heal issues like Candida, help support Lyme healing, fungus, parasites, etc. etc. Just know that die-off/herx symptoms may emerge and you can feel worse before better. Back off your dosage if you need to for a bit, and always consult your own practitioners for medical advice. The fact that it kills e coli, staph, salmonella, etc. means that I will *always* keep it on hand for my medicine cabinet, and when traveling!

I use it in breakfast smoothies and credit it with a flattened tummy :)

I LOVE the blend. To my palate it has a very deep green chlorophyll taste that I enjoy...I feel like I really taste the chlorella. I especially like to use it in a breakfast green smoothie. I vary the ingredients a bit, but usually use plain Greek low fat yogurt, frozen banana chunks, frozen blueberries, lots of fresh mint, some flax oil, chia or hemp, and a nice big scoop of Vitamineral green. Sometimes I add fresh greens as I always used to, but with the Vitamineral green they are a nice addition but they don't feel necessary. More about this blend that I love: No sweeteners. Lots of probiotics. Enzymes. A good mix of seaweeds. I feel great when I use it. I also just bought 2 cute pairs of jeans a few sizes smaller than I had worn in years. They aren't kidding about working your way up to the full dose--it can be very cleansing! :)

Abundant feel-good antioxidants and Vitamin C, NO fillers!

I was looking for a good, natural form of Vitamin C and found Camu Camu here on iHerb. I had never heard of this little Amazonian fruit, which is similar to a cherry. I found these veggie caps an easy size to swallow, and easy on my stomach unlike some acidy vitamin C supplements I have tried. It's an excellent antioxidant, and there are studies showing it can be helpful for attention deficit disorder and depression. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Heal well! :)

Surrounded at work by sick people, this was my secret weapon for staying well!

I'm very grateful actually that my co-worker shared her secret weapon against sickness: Source Naturals Wellness Formula Herbal Defense Complex. We just called it "Wellness" for short, and that's how it always felt to me. I had noticed that my friend never seemed to be out sick as often as everyone else, and I asked her why. We worked with a lot of very sick clients with all sorts of health conditions, and co-workers were regularly calling in sick with everything that was going around from colds and flu to stomach virus and more. I agree with another reviewer who pointed out that these tablets are especially helpful when taken at the first signs that you are getting sick or feeling unwell. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Here's to your own fabulous wellness! :)

May help with Lyme biofilm removal--talk to your LLMD or other Lyme literate practitioner

Posted on Jun 27, 2012

Someone in my life has chronic Lyme disease, so I try to learn all I can to help. Herbalist Stephen Buhner, author of "Healing Lyme" and many other excellent books also has a specific website to address healing Lyme. That's where I first learned of nattokinase used to remove Lyme biofilm. I appreciate that nattokinase is made from fermented soybeans. I know that some folks rave about lumbrokinase, but I can't deal with the thought of a supplement made from worm by-products. Nattokinase is also *much* more affordable. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, especially with any chronic or serious illness. "LLMD" stands for "Lyme literate medical doctor," someone who has more experience in diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. Lyme manifests differently in people, often with different co-infections, so what is right for one (or at one stage of the game) might not be right for another. Take good care of yourself, and heal well! :)

Wonderful whole food blend, even fewer than than recommended dose can make a big difference!

My sweetie swears by this vitamin. When he takes just a couple a day (rather than 3 with each meal as suggested) he finds that his energy and all-around feeling of wellness are much better. I can't take them because I find them too dry and large to easily swallow. The ingredients are amazing, a blend of nutrients in their whole food state, nothing synthetic here. The antioxidants come from fruits and veggies. Tonic mushrooms and sea veggies add super benefits you may not get in your regular diet. NOTE that coffee extract and green tea are part of the blend, so depending on your situation these could either be energy-enhancing or too stimulating. Play with the dose and build it up, don't try 9 the first day for instance. If you have allergies/sensitivities or complicated health issues please read labels carefully because in a comprehensive blend like this you may find something tucked in there that you shouldn't be taking. Remember to always check with your own doctor to make sure that a supplement is right for you and won't interfere with other things you are taking, etc. Here's to your radiant wellness! :)

Cat sitter's secret for happy cats

I cat sit for my friends' four cats, and these calming chews really help them to relax without their beloved house family. I like and trust this brand, and iHerb offers a much better price than what I find locally. A local vet sells these for $4.99.
