Holy basil calms my thoughts and relieves irritability during stressful times. I tend to be a bit on the adrenal side of things, easily irritated, and holy basil doesn't make me sleepy if I take it during the day, yet it helps me relax and sleep better if I take it at night. I find I'm in a better mood and less emotional as well. To top things off, Holy Basil also lessened my asthma symptoms and I feel more healthy. If I could have only one herb, this is it! The Paradise Herbs brand is also excellent; I get better results with it than other brands so it seems to be more potent. As always, I'm very happy with iHerb's service.

Natural, pure calm

Taking theanine is no substitute for living a clean life, eating well, and exercising, but it certainly helps. When I feel "on edge" or agitated, 200 mg of theanine helps me relax without feeling sleepy or tired. I prefer this brand because it is pure, no magnesium stearate or other fillers. Some medical studies suggest that overuse of supplements is actually bad for your health -- this may be perhaps because of fillers, stearates, and so on. All consumers should insist that food and supplement companies stop using fillers and processed additives.

These are good in that I feel them working right away (increased energy) and they are a complete and balanced combination of vitamin B. But, I do notice they do give my skin a temporary orange tint (as some B-vitamins will do)... perhaps this is the pure niacin at work. These are good in the morning but if I take in the evening, I have trouble sleeping. If you need more energy due to inadequate diet, these should do the trick. No reason to pay for more expensive vitamins!

I thought I loved the regular orange Badger lip balm, but this one is even better. The coco butter seems to heal my lips, they stay soft with just a couple applications a day. I like the way the lime scent/flavor brightens up the chocolate/coco butter undertones, makes it fresher and lighter. Excellent product!

As a fan of the body lotion by Mineral Fusion, I decided to give their body wash a try. I have a hard time finding shower gels that clean without drying out my skin (many other shower soaps either leave a film or leave my skin itchy and ashy) so I'm always reluctant to try new ones. Well, Mineral Fusion's Waterstone body wash not only left me feeling clean and refreshed, it didn't dry out my skin and its smell is a very subtle yet fresh scent.

I have sensitive skin and have reactions to almost anything. Not Alba - it leaves me feeling clean and yet not dried out. I prefer the citrus or tuberose scent, though. This Honey Mango scent is too sweet, not refreshing enough for a morning wake-up.

I use this as a sweetner along with stevia. Make lemonade with the juice of one lemon, about 6 ozs of water, a teaspoon of stevia and a teaspoon of Inulin FOS, and it brings out the lemon flavor, is sweet without being syrupy and so delicious that even my teenager loved it.

I've overused the regular OTC eye drops such as Visine and Clear Eyes; despite knowing they're not meant for long-term use, I'd try to go without them only to have red eyes. By switching to the PrimaVu drops, I was able to break my eye drops habit. What I like most about these compared to the other "natural" brand is they do not have nitrates as preservatives (I don't know how the other brand can qualify as natural when they use such harmful ingredients!) When PrimaVu was out of stock at iHerb, I worried they wouldn't come back. I've found nothing better for the price.

For the past few months, been drinking several different Madre Labs formulas, alternating depending on my mood, but this one is my favorite. Not only does it taste very yummy (I add extra Inulin FOS for a bit more sweetness), it makes me few terrific. I don't have sugar cravings like before. As a plus my skin is soft, clear and glowing. The full sized version is so worth the money; it costs less per serving than a cup of coffee or energy drink.

I've been a restless sleeper for a long time and have tried many products to help. Tryptophan has brought the best results... I can fall asleep and sleep well without feeling "hungover" in the morning. The side effect is I'm more refreshed, calmer and happier throughout the day. I couple this with L-Theanine and/or relora when I'm especially stressed. I don't use it every night but I do find that, if I don't take it on a regular basis, my restlessness and sleeplessness return and I'm more stressed during the day. I've tried other labels for tryptophan, but of the brands iHerb carries, Source Naturals has been the most consistently potent and effective for me. Plus, the price cannot be beat.

This has been a mood improver and a stress reliever for me. Doesn't feel like I'm under the influence or sleepy or such, just calm. There are times during my monthly cycle when that is exactly what's needed. Very useful for my perimenapausal symptoms, then.

One of these each day with my breakfast and I feel nourished and satisfied. Along with making healthy meal choices, this has brought mental clarity and energy... not the jittery kind of false "energy" from caffeine. I've been shopping with iherb for several years and, as always, iherb can be counted on for reliable service and the best prices anywhere!
