Fruit shake heaven? Not any more!

Hello. As far as nutrition goes, I prefer herbs to plain vitamins- trying to eat god. fresh fruit and veg seems to be the best strategy. My mainstays are an ENORMOUS fruitshake in the morning plus a flask of fresh ginger and hawthorne tea during the day. Aside from that, I just keep away from sugar. Its always good to try new things though. Currently, my 'thing' is red ginseng- gives me lots of energy and also tastes quite nice!! ----- Read the above? All change now. My main aim is to cut out the sugar these days so my enormous fruit shake has been replaced with a huge blended salad! It was a challenge to get it right but I'm now happily adding iHerbs and iSpices to my daily mush. (Did you know that just salt & pepper brings the flavour of any salad out beautifully?- Super simple!)

I've been really trying to work on my stomach for many years using ACV and sodium bicarb to reduce my acid. Slippery Elm seems to be the icing on the cake. I've been using it for over two weeks now and my stomach feels better than ever- verging on fantastic. Will undoubtedly reorder

Well, they do exactly what they said they would but it's a lot of dough for 40 caps. It also grates because we have to order these from America when we live in flippin' Sweden.

Ahhh, Evening Primrose Oil, now so easily available and at good prices. By feeding it to the missus, this item saves my life once every month. Now my life is once again complete with sunshine, flowers, fruit and.... what do you meant the test came out blue!!?? I've just cornered the market in this stuff and now we won't need it for another 9 months? I ask you.... ;-) Please please don't ever let the FDA regulate this product otherwise I'm a dead man.

Never as good as the real thing

Packaging fine, resealable- contents seem good quality too. I made this mistake before. Using powdered ginger in my tea instead of boiling the root is no substitute. I'm sure it's a great product for cooking though, just not what I need.

I find st john's wort doesn't cure depression but it does help me to not dwell for too long on problems. I find something better to think about more easily. Currently I hardly use it though as my Overall situation is not particularly depressing these days. Good product anyway

Seems to do the trick

Product is fine, packaging is fine- no complaints. I need all the help I can get. ACV, sodium bicarb, slippery elm; all help to fight the acid. Using these in the morning before breakfast seems to be helping too because I don't notice a great deal of discomfort these days. Of course, the real test will be when I stop

I must confess it tastes really horrible but then I suppose these protein supplements tend to anyway. It does do the trick if you've been exercising and need a healthy meal- but have no time

A mineral supplement...

With much of the food we eat being deficient in many essential minerals, these provide a nice array to help bridge the gap. Quality and packaging seem fine

A great addition to the shake.

This is good value stuff- I still haven't finished the packet after well over a month of daily use. Just a spoonful stirred into the daily shake, along with everything else. Sensible resealable packaging too with it's own little serving spoon- as this stuff will stain like crazy. I couldn't really talk about the effects on their own but, safe to say, my daily shake still packs one healthy punch that hits the spot.

Yummy!

Most of the food products I get from iHerb definitely have that 'medicine taste'. ie You know it's doing you good because it has a 'something' in it but that 'something' is lurking there in the back of the taste. Anyway, that is NOT these. These taste absolutely delicious and don't seem to be that expensive for what they are either. Whether dark chocolate and almonds are doing me good, I couldn't tell you- but they will be on the order list again simply because I like them!
