Love it! Great value for money, and packed with protein and heaps of BCAA's

The best value for money Vegan protein powder I can buy online! When you compare prices and total protein content of other powders, this one beats them all. I usually buy 5 at a time for shipping to Australia, that way the express delivery is more affordable. Even with the delivery cost it's much cheaper than any protein powder I can buy in Australia. Makes a great pre/post-workout shake, combined with 50g Now Foods Carbo Gain, and a cup of oat milk. To beat nighttime catabolism (muscle breakdown) I combine a scoop of pea protein with 30g of oat flour, and a cup of oat milk. Also makes a great protein-packed sauce for my dinner, just mix with hot water, curry paste, and veggies!

Liver support for my dog

My dog has some mast cell tumours, and I give her prednisone to help keep the inflammation down, but long-term use of this steroid can damage the liver, so I'm giving her the Silymarin to help keep her liver healthy. The 150mg tablet size is perfect for my 19kg dog, I give her one with breakfast, and another with dinner. I use a lot of Now Foods supplements for my dog, and it's much cheaper than buying the products specifically made for animals.

Load up your muscles with the good stuff!

As a Vegan I knew my creatine levels would be lower than meat eaters, so I was expecting a noticeable change, but I was still surprised to discover I'd put on 3.5kg in 3 weeks! It's not all lean muscle mass mind you, because creatine increases muscle hydration, but my muscles certainly look bigger. During the initial loading stage I took 4g of creatine, 3 times a day for 2 weeks. For maintenance use I just take 4g with my post-workout shake, along with 33g Now Foods Pea Protein, 50g Now Foods Carbo Gain, cup of oat milk, and 3g Now Foods L-Glutamine.

Another great supplement for my dog Biscuit, to help fight her cancer. Five immunity boosting mushrooms, and anti-inflammatory ginger.

Good mix of fungus fighting herbs, but a bit pricey too

This was the first proper anti-fungal candida supplement I purchased, and it has a good mix of herbs, but it's also a bit expensive. I've since moved on to Now Foods Candia Cleanse, and I think it's more effective, because of the higher concentration of anti-fungals, and addition of caprylic acid. It's also cheaper!

More energy!

Carbo Gain goes down easy, and I feel a noticeable increase in energy levels during my workout. Prior to taking Carbo Gain I was having a pre and post-workout shake with 33g Now Foods Pea Protein, 30g oat flour, and a cup of oat milk. Oats are heavy and digest pretty slowly though, so I would sometimes feel a bit sluggish during my early morning workout. Now with 50g (1/2 cup) of Carbo Gain in my pre/post workout shakes instead of the oats, I certainly feel more energised, before, during and after my weights session. As a hardgainer I need to focus on calorie dense foods, and this fits the bill perfectly. Taking 100g per day you'll get through a lot of Carbo Gain, so this Mega Pack is definitely the best value for money. I don't follow food combing rules, but I do know that a protein/carb mix is not ideal, so I also take a Now Foods Plant Enzyme Vcap to optimise digestion.

Great vegan multivitamin from a great vegan brand

I can't believe how much they pack into these little tablets, plus you get green whole foods, vegetable powders, and special herbs too! This does contain B-12, but it's Cyanocobalamin, which is fine for maintenance, but it's not the best kind to take if your B-12 levels are low. Sublingual Methylcobalamin is the best kind of B-12 to quickly restore your B-12 levels, and luckily Deva make that too.

Good source of vegan omega-3, but I wish it was cheaper

This was the best non-fish Omega-3 DHA-EPA I could find, but of course it's much more expensive than the fishy variety. One slow release capsule per day is all you need though -- and one for my vegan dog Biscuit too of course :@)

Affordable vegan vitamin D supplement, but not as good for you as vitamin D3

A recent blood test showed that my vitamin D levels were low, so I decided it was a good idea to take a supplement. We get lots of sun here on the sunny coast in Qld, but the cold weather this winter means I haven't been getting as much sun on my skin. I'm trying to build muscle and I've read that vitamin D is essential for muscle health, and can support testosterone levels, so I knew this was a pretty essential supplement for me. Through further research I've discovered that not all vitamin D supplements are the same though. The best type of vitamin D is actually D3 (Cholecalciferol). Unfortunately Deva don't have a D3 supplement, and most of the other D3 supplements available are not vegan, because it is derived from lanolin. Luckily I discovered Vitashine, a vegan vitamin D3 supplement, and I'm currently waiting for my first order to arrive.

Essential supplement for vegan bodybuilders

I didn't realise how important this supplement was until I started reading heaps of articles about it. Apart from assisting with muscle repair and recovery, it can help maintain muscle mass, boost brain power, ease depression, stimulate the immune system, enhance intestinal integrity, promote stable blood sugar levels, and help fight candida yeast infection! Apparently when L-Glutamine is combined with creatine, it can counteract the effects of overtraining, so I make sure take 2 tablets with 4g creatine in my post-workout protein/carb shake. The tablets are like horse pills, so you'll need a fair amount of liquid to wash them down. Great price for 180 tablets, which is important when you take 4 a day.

Another great cancer fighting supplement for my dog

I save a lot of money buying supplements from iHerb.com for my dog. She has mast cell tumours, and I've done a lot of online research to discover which supplements can help her. Ginger supplements are recommended in The Dog Cancer Survival Guide. The gingerols in ginger can help reduce inflammation, which is good because cancer thrives on inflammation.

Great size means less plastic waste

Purchased this for a friend, because she couldn't find an alcohol-free toner in Australia. She tells me that the larger size is great, because it means less plastic waste. She's also happy that this toner doesn't have a stupid wasteful spray applicator.
