It could be less expensive and they could add selenium and some other important thyroid helpers but it does help and I am starting to feel better so I think that there were things in this supplement that are necessary for a healthy thyroid. Sometimes the Synthroid alone just doesn't cut it.

I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and my Dr. started me on Iodoral. With certain thyroid conditions you must be very cautious so I recommend that you not only educate yourself, but speak to your Dr. before trying these on your own. In certain conditions they can make you feel worse. But for others they are a wonderful supplement that will help greatly.

and it loves me (the tart cherries are good for inflammatory pain and they have melatonin in them). But the main reason I love organic tart cherry butter is it tastes good. I have it with almond butter on rice cakes and on cheese & crackers. It's a treat because it is pricey but the food value is great - organic & no sugar - just cherries :)

I received the product after it had sat on a UPS truck all day in the heat and had to return the product because the product should not be exposed to heat, it weakens it a lot and states on box NOT to expose it to temperature over 72 degrees. . I really look forward to trying this product but recommend that you pay the "overnight" shipping or wait until the chances of heat exposure is over.

I take SeleNex for low thyroid function. I like Jarrow formulas with my only complain being the cost. I guess it's the old adage "You get what you pay for"

Product is good and fresh, I always like NOW products, but it is too soon to tell if product is working. With supplements, you sometimes need a few weeks to really rate the product!
