I am 42 years-old and have had a problem with excessive bleeding for 2 years. My gynecologist ordered everything from birth control pills to a D&C. Nothing worked! I tried Shepherd's Purse, Vitex, and DIM. These didn't work for long. The bleeding always returned within a few days. I added 2 caps of Graviola and 1 cap of Indole-3-Carbinol daily. I have been on these for almost a month and, I am happy to report there has been NO vaginal bleeding. What a blessing!

I can't rate this one on weight loss. After just a few days, I had a horrible outbreak of cystic acne on my chin. Large painful cysts. No reviews here mentioned acne as a side effect, but after my experience I did a little more research. Acne is a definite side effect. I won't be taking any more.

In August '08, my cholesterol was 290 with an LDL of 191. I ordered this product immediately. After taking it daily for an entire year, I can now give it a 5-star review. In August "09, my cholesterol was 182 with an LDL of 115. My weight was the same. The nurse could not believe I had not been taking a statin prescription drug. Needless to say, I will contine taking my Red Yeast Rice. Please do not discontinue this one!

I didn't care for the taste. It is very gritty and does not mix well. As for decreasing my appetite, it did not. It just caused lots of gas.

Took up to 6 caps at a time and it did notthing to decease my appetite. It is just a very expensitive laxative.
