Very delicate pasta

I found it to have a lighter texture than regular pasta. Next time I may undercook it slightly for an al dente texture. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the flavor. This will be a staple in our home.

I had never had quinoa before, but we really enjoyed it. I cooked it in chicken broth and added sauted garlic and onions. Nice flavor. I could see using it like rice.

Great as humectant for hair

I mix this with water and use as a spritz to keep natural, kinky hair moisturized -- roughly 1 part glycerin & 3 parts water. Glycerin is very sticky,so you may have to add more water.

I use this mostly in baking and oatmeal. It has a molasses undertone, so I am careful about what I use it in. It looks like dark dry sand and it seems to take slightly longer than refined sugar to dissolve. Be aware that it will darken the color of your dish if used in sufficient amounts.

My daughters spent several days at camp using this product. We only applied once at the beginning of each day, not throughout the day. They did not swim, so the product was not washed off. Neither experienced sunburn or any significant darkening of their skin. The product does apply white and takes quite a bit of rubbing to make that diminish... however, be careful not to rub most of it away!:-)

Good, but challenging as substitute for spaghetti

Has a neutral taste and smell. It assumes the flavor of whatever you put on it. I used it in place of spaghetti with a sauce. The best way to make the crunch disappear really is to let it sit in an acidic sauce or marinade. I wasn't able to do that since we like only a little sauce on our noodles and simmering them in the spaghetti sauce would not have been desirable to us. I tried to reduce the crunch by letting it simmer on high in a crockpot full of water for several hours. Once I saw that the noodles were no longer translucent but white, I tried one to see if it was less crunchy. It was SLIGHTLY less crunchy after hours. Alas, we will just have to get used to the crunch.:-)

I would have liked a little more scent, but it does its job of cleaning my 3 year old. It also makes a great lather under running water for bubble bath.

I purchased this particular product for hair care. I usually use the same brand I use for cooking, but I bought this one because it was cheaper and I didn't plan on eating it. I actually love the coconut scent in other brands and was disappointed that this one had no scent whatsoever. However, it works well on our hair and skin.

I use fiber daily to increase regularity and as a bulking agent. This product does not seem to do the job as effectively as other products. Perhaps as a simple fiber supplement, it would be fine.
