I found that using this product(and several others) orally for my persistent internal rhoid problem provided inconsistent relief and tended to require more capsules per day the longer I used it. Therefore, I devised an anal treatment with this product that provided much more reliable relief and at a much lower cost. I mix the contents of one capsule into a teaspoon or so of a bland cheap skin cream(I use Advanced Therapy Lotion). This can be done in an appropriate-sized bottle cap or tiny cosmetics container. 2 end-of-finger dips applied in and around the anus usually provides relief for 6-12 hr., sometimes longer. This prep will be enough for a few days, costing only about 10c/treatment. You may find a larger prep is more convenient. If I also add 2 caps of Butcher's Broom(Nature's Way) to the prep,it tends to be more consistently effective for 12 hr or longer.(The latter itself is often effective and is very cheap). Stoneroot(one of the ingredients) is also effective. Better Veins(Enzymatic Therapy) similarly prepared is effective even longer, usually at least 24 hr. after one application.

When I developed marked pain below my left big toe many days after some walking, I read about this product and ordered it. Applying it a couple hours before going to work, it usually much reduced or even eliminated the pain so that it was not a big issue as I worked. For the past several months, the problem has become much less, so that I now seldom need to use this product. Also, occasionally I get tendonitis in my left thumb from work. After applying this product to that area, usually the pain and weakness gradually decreases over several hours until it is a minimal problem.

Enzymatic Therapies doesn't seem to realize that they have probably the most effective product out there for these 2 very common problems. 2 double blind clinical trials found that 73mg of GAGs, split in 2 oral doses/day produced much superior results in alleviating the symptoms of these problems compared to a standard botanical flavanoid product. I personally have found that mixing the contents of 1 capsule into a teaspoon or so of a bland cheap skin cream(I use Advanced Therapy Lotion) provides relief from my persistent internal rhoids usually for at least a day, longer than my herbal preps or Equate cream usually last. Applying 2 end-of-finger dips, this prep should last a few days, depending on whether you apply it once or twice a day. Cost:10-20c/day. If use orally, 1 cap twice a day is recommended. This product actually repairs vein damage, not just relieve the symptoms!
