Excellent substitute for wheat flour in baking, it gives a richer taste. It contains the skin of the almonds too, which adds up to the fibre intake. The price is very good for the amount of product. The name is misleading and inaccurate: this product is almond meal, which contains almond skins and is coarsely ground. I was disappointed as I was expecting it to be almond flour (as the label states), which should be finely ground and contain zero almond skins. Do not purchase this unless you are looking for something of a coarser consistency, or are prepared to put up with flecks of skin and larger chunks of almonds in your baking.

Mix it with Christmas Fruit for Gluten Free Yum - No cooking, Merry Christmas from me.

Mix it with Christmas Fruit from a jar with the gooey syrup or somehow marinate your own mixed fruit. If u want gluten free in a hurry, that's it otherwise add in some chia seed for crunch, whatever powdered supplement won't spoil the taste, cinnamon if you like, ginger powder if you like instead, and some melted coconut oil to your desired consistency for rolling into balls. Roll the balls in whatever you want but dark chocolate melted with a bit of coconut oil in the microwave has been the easiest for me. Let me know if it gives you reflux or not. It is heaps better than snacking on anything with wheat in it in that department for me and you can make as little or as much as you want. Stores in fridge for ages (like a year anyway if you use that preserved fruit which you may not want to do!) I don't have a problem with that additive anyway but I have marinated my own with less success consistency-wise.
