Some scientific evidence suggests that consumption of antioxidant vitamins may reduce the risk of certain forms of cancer. However, the FDA has determined that this evidence is limited and not conclusive.
Calcium Ascorbate is not acidic and will not contribute to excess stomach acidity or irritation in sensitive persons. Calcium Ascorbate is synthesized from a combination of Ascorbic Acid and Calcium Carbonate to form Calcium Ascorbate.
Suggested Use
As a dietary supplement, take 1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal. Consider taking these other NOW products: Grape Seed Extract, Pycnogenol and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
This product is designed to gradually release over a 2-hour period.
Other Ingredients
Calcium phosphate, cellulose, stearic acid (vegetable source), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silica and vegetarian coating.
