NuGo Dark is the only Real Dark Chocolate enrobed protein bar.
NuGo's dark chocolate comes only from cocoa beans, a superfood which lowers bad (LDL) cholesterol and raises good (HDL) cholesterol. Other chocolate-coated protein bars and snacks may be partially derived from cocoa beans but include cheaper vegetable fat to make the chocolate coating melt at a higher temperature. That's better for shipping costs, but it's not better for you. Vegetable fat in chocolate-flavored snacks raises bad cholesterol and gives your snack a waxy taste.

Dark chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (emulsifier), vanilla), soy crisp nuggets (isolated soy protein, rice flour, malt and salt), rice crisp (rice flour, sugar, malt extract), tapioca syrup, agave syrup, whole oats, soy protein, cocoa powder, soy lecithin, acacia gum and natural coffee flavor. Allergen Information: contains soy. Manufactured on equipment that also processes products containing peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat and egg.
