Imagine an organic food with 30% daily value (DV) of protein, 32% DV of fiber, as well as magnesium, iron and zinc. It's all inside our 15G Hemp Protein, one of nature's perfect superfoods. It contains high-quality plant protein with the branched-chain amino acids that are vital for good health, and it's super easy to digest.
Why Hemp Protein Is Ideal
Of the protein, 66% is edestin (a bioactive globulin protein that's easy to digest) - more than any other plant!
One serving provides 15 grams of raw organic protein and 8 grams of fiber per serving (32% DV). Hemp contains all 9 essential amino acids, with the bonus of good-for-you essential fatty acids (2 g per serving).
People & Planet
Certified organic hemp is the Earth's premier renewable resource! Unlike most non-organic soy proteins, our hemp protein is not processed with hexanne, a harsh solvent. It's also vegan and comes in a non-BPA container.
Blend 2-4 Tbsp Hemp Protein with 8 oz. milk (almond milk is ideal) and a ripe banana, or try the recipe at right.
Organic hemp protein.
Made without hexane, dairy lactose or sweeteners.

This didn't mix well at all, nor did it agree with me - stomached it no problem - suspect the globulin protein was an issue, something about the seeds went to war with my immune system, or the fact seeds antagonise iodine/manganese (i.e. thyroid). Given the fact it didn't mix well etc, I won't bother trying again - not worth the bother. It got into the country OK. If this review was helpful to you, please click YES below - thank you. I would describe the taste as mix of nutty, veggie/grassy and earthy and my initial big mistake was to try and mix it with sweet things – it literally made me gag. I know that some of the reviewers find it delicious that way but it was a no-go for me. Now I am mixing it into cold cream veggie soup and I am actually enjoying it!
did not like the taste

the product is ok, good quantity of protein, but I hate the taste, I am eating it, but as a medicine, with a lot of water after.

It's brown powder. I usually put this in my pancake to replace flour. Everyday i will check the intake of protein.Sometimes i will eat it straight if lack of protein. Subtle taste but not too bad!

Great for recovery shake!

My marathon training demands high protein recovery and it needs to be gluten/lactose-free. Been using Nutiva for more than a year, it's great! My stomach is able to hold it down after a tummy churning 20-30km training. Well, there is nothing fantastic about the taste of hemp so really depends on individual tolerance. I like to use coconut water and I'm not bothered by it's slightly lumpy and grainy texture (just use creamy fruits, e.g. banana or mango). My Sundesa blender bottle works quite well.
