Delicious, but a bit pricey
Delicious, but a bit pricey
Very smooth, with minty crunchies. I gave only 4 stars for two reasons. First, my personal preference is for the "uncrunchy" kind of mint chocolate, although that isn't Alter Eco's fault, and for the others who shared this with me, it was delightful. Second, at not even 3 oz, it is small for the price, and I don't really think the fair trade part justifies it. but maybe I am spoiled.
Alter Eco & Chocolove drive test))

I`ve ordered two products of dark chocolate and mint, I just always loved the combo. And we tasted them with a friend. Now, here`s the deal: Chocolove product is sweeter and kind of tender, which I absolutely adored and would eat a tone of it in one seating. Alter Eco was less sweat and more rough in both bitterness of chocolate and mint`s blow, which a friend of mine really appreciated. I was happy to just give it all to her and eat the entire Chocolove by myself. So. May be that will give others some understanding of what to choose. If you`re like me and love a mississippi mud cake and a pavlova sometimes, go for Chocolove. If you`re like her and prefer raw vegan sweets (and not pretend but truly enjoy them (are you? are you really? how do you do that?))))) - go with Alter Eco one!:) Good luck!!
Nice minty kick

As it says, it's dark chocolate and mint flavoured. What I enjoyed was the mint flavour with my chocolate but perhaps there should be less peppermint crunch, considering that there is already raw cane sugar listed as second on its ingredient list. Right now, I just feel like I'm eating too much candy cane. Also, perhaps it was due to shipping but my chocolate has changed colour due to temperature changes. This usually affects the texture and taste of the chocolate. Overall, still a unique and tasty chocolate to try without harmful ingredients.
