Andean Dream Quinoa Cookies
A healthy alternative snack!
Quinoa [Chenopodium quinoa wild] has been enjoyed as an important food crop in the Andes for more than 6,000 years. More precious than gold, this powerhouse grain has now been re-discovered by the world marketplace because of its delicious flavor and high nutritional value.
Classified as a 'supercrop' by the United Nations for its high protein content, quinoa contains a balanced set of essential amino acids, making it an unusually complete food.
We've spun this healthy, golden grain into our Andean Dream Quinoa Cookies, made with organic Royal Quinoa, which is grown only in the Bolivian Andes, at an altitude of 13,000 feet, which produces the finest quality quinoa in the world.
Quinoa is delicious and nutritious, rich in high quality proteins, vitamins and minerals, and essential amino acids necessary for optimal nutrition.
Quinoa has been selected by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations as one of the crops that will play an important role in ensuring food security around the world in the 21st century. The National Academy of Sciences of the United States has rated quinoa as the most nourishing grain in the world.
We have packed our cookies for you in individual convenient single serving packets. Perfect to grab for a quick snack, and for school lunches and backpacks!

Delicious and not too sweet
Delicious and not too sweet
So far I've found all Andean Dream cookies to be well balanced in terms of sweetness and flavors. The textures are just like a cookie should be, not too hard/dry and not cakey like a lot of gluten free cookies are. Plus the quinoa gives a tiny shot of protein not normally found in cookies. They are great! This cookie is great for those looking for a decent chocolate cookie. I personally have never liked orange and chocolate paired together, but the orange is not a strong flavor in this cookie at all, and works towards making it a tasty one.

Everything about these cookies is good except the price (The box contains 12 small cookies). They taste good, they are not too sweet, they contain more quinoa than rice (I wish they were ALL quinoa), they are individually wrapped (opening the box does not make the unconsumed ones stale), and they are small and somewhat difficult to open without scissors (which makes it more difficult to eat the whole box in one sitting). The ingredients list has many organic ingredients and nothing unpronounceable. The taste is good for orange but a little weak on the cocoa.

These are my absolute favourite cookies. Delicious taste, not too sweet. You can really feel that they are made from good, healthy ingredients. Doesn't give me a blood sugar drop like "normal"cookies do, so perfect as a snack on the go. My 3-year old daughter loves them as well. The only downside I can think of is that they are a bit pricey.

a clothespin in the box-상자 안에 빨래집게가 들어있네요.

even though i am a big fan of this delicious cookies, i have to tell this. as i open the box, there was a clothespin in it. at first, i thought it would be a freegift. but the condition of the pin tells that it's not a gift. i become doubtful about the sanitary conditions of product line in rapunzel.
Needs a richer chocolate taste

It's a fine cookie, not too sweet like the others have said, with a delicate orange note. I wish the chocolate flavor was richer, though. Eating one of the cookies just left me kinda going "Eh. *shrugs*". So not bad, but not great either.
