Andean Dream Quinoa Cookies
A healthy alternative snack!
Quinoa [Chenopodium quinoa wild] has been enjoyed as an important food crop in the Andes for more than 6,000 years. More precious than gold, this powerhouse grain has now been re-discovered by the world marketplace because of its delicious flavor and high nutritional value.
Classified as a 'supercrop' by the United Nations for its high protein content, quinoa contains a balanced set of essential amino acids, making it an unusually complete food.
We've spun this healthy, golden grain into our Andean Dream Quinoa Cookies, made with organic Royal Quinoa, which is grown only in the Bolivian Andes at an altitude of 13,000 feet, which produces the finest quality quinoa in the world.
Quinoa is delicious and nutritious, rich in high quality proteins, vitamins and minerals, and essential amino acids necessary for optimal nutrition.
Quinoa has been selected by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations as one of the crops that will play an important role in ensuring food security around the world in the 21st century. The National Academy of Sciences of the United States has rated quinoa as the most nourishing grain in the world.
We have packed our cookies for you in individual convenient single serving packets. Perfect to grab for a quick snack, and for school lunches and backpacks!
Andean Dream sources its Royal Quinoa from indigenous farming family groups at fair trade prices, which contribute to positive economic changes for these families.

Good coconut cookies

Everything about these cookies is good except the price (The box contains 12 small cookies). They taste good, they are not too sweet, they contain more quinoa than rice (I wish they were ALL quinoa), they are individually wrapped (opening the box does not make the unconsumed ones stale), and they are small and somewhat difficult to open without scissors (which makes it more difficult to eat the whole box in one sitting). The ingredients list has many organic ingredients and nothing unpronounceable. And these cookies taste like coconut.
I didn't get it too did not get my money

These little cookies are so good. I love they are in individual packages so I didn't eat the whole box too fast. The only down fall is they break easier, and i had a lot of them broken up in their packaging.

This gluten and diary free cook is certainly healthy and I like hint of coconut and that it is not sweet. What I do not like is it is too dry. And its quite expensive.
