Dear Friends, Did you know that 9 out of 10 Americans do not meet their daily recommendation for fiber consumption? That's unfortunate because eating enough fiber is so essential for a healthy diet. Fiber regulates the digestive system and helps pass waste and toxins out of the body. It absorbs fat and cholesterol that would otherwise make its way into the blood. Plus, fiber helps your feel full faster, and filling up on high fiber foods leaves less room for high-fat, high calorie, low-fiber foods.
Depending on your age and gender, you should eat between 21 and 38 grams of fiber everyday. Eating more whole grains, fruits and vegetables, will help you get the fibber you need. Bob's Red Mill Unprocessed Miller's Wheat Bran is another simple way to increase the fiber in your diet. Sprinkle some on your breakfast cereal and add it to your baked goods. It even makes a delicious low-carb breading. Our Wheat Bran is much more than just a good fiber supplement: it naturally contains three major B-vitamins-thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin-that your body needs. So for your good health, begin using Bob's Red Mill Unprocessed Miller's Wheat Bran.

Love this! Keeps me regular :)
Love this! Keeps me regular :)
Love this product & price! I started taking protein supplements, as I began lifting weights to reconfigure my body composition (i.e. to convert fat into lean muscle). So I got this to counteract possible side effects of increased protein intake (one of which can be constipation). I put two heaping table spoons into my smoothie (whey protein + L-Lysine + bananas + other fruits or berries + rice milk + WHEAT BRAN)) and it's been keeping me regular. I also drink lots of fluids to help with digestion and absorption of it all, as well as to balance my fluids loss due to work outs. So far so good, and I ordered two BIG (20oz) bags of this Wheat Bran, as I go thru it pretty fast. I keep it in my freezer with my bananas & fruit :)

Great way to add fiber to your diet with this product. Just sprinkle the wheat bran flakes on all types of foods and cereals. I even sprinkle it on pizza and add it to yogurt. You can add it to just about anything. Great product.
