Eden Foods, Wasabi Chips, 2.1 oz (60 g) (Discontinued Item)
- Crisp & Fiery Hot
- Good Food Good Reason Health and Happiness
The stimulating and unique flavor of Eden Wasabi Chips comes from real wasabi, wild Japanese horseradish. A selection of fresh minced vegetables and dough are blended, formed, dried and baked. Next is flash frying in high oleic rice bran oil and centrifuge spinning to reduce oil content, creating light and crispy chips. While still warm the chips are lightly misted with a sauce of wasabi powder, barley malt syrup, and tamari soy sauce. A final oven bake hardens the glaze. A really good snack food and great as spicy croutons on soup.
Potato starch, organic tamari soy sauce (water, organic soybeans, sea salt, grain alcohol, koji), rice bran oil, carrot, cabbage, spinach, bell pepper, wasabi (Japanese horseradish), parsley, lettuce, sea salt, potato syrup (potato starch, barley malt).
No preservatives, colorings, or chemicals are added at any stage of their creation.
Made on equipment that handles crustacean shellfish, egg, fish, milk, peanut, sesame seed, soybean, tree nut, and wheat.

My spice loving hubby and our respective dads love the flavour of these... Very very spicy, not for the faint-hearted. ;-)

Tasted pretty bland, just an artifical wasabi-flavor. Very crunchy though.

I love wasabi but these chips are so insanely hot! I had to take tiny bites because if I ate a whole one it made me cry. After eating a few my tonge was numb. So eat at your own risk! Spicy food lovers will probably love these, otherwise I suggest you look for something milder.
