Sunflower seeds have been cultivated for thousands of years, originally by the indigenous people of Mexico and Peru. Brought to Europe by Spanish explorers, the seeds have since played a significant role in human nutrition. Bija Hydro-Therm Sunflower oil has a deep golden color and spectacular flavor. It's a perfect complement to most any dish and is ideal for every day use.
Bija Hydro-Therm Oils attribute their extraordinary taste and exceptional quality to a proprietary technique derived from old-world European pressing methods. This gentle, low-temperature process employs light toasting, sea salt, and cool, filtered water to protect and ensure the natural spectrum of omega fatty acids. To maintain peak nutritional value and prevent oxidation, the oils are nitrogen-flushed and packaged in light-resistant dark glass bottles. Bija Hydro-Therm Oils are pure, unfiltered, unrefined and made with certified organic ingredients.
Bija Hydro-Therm Sunflower Oil's deep golden color and spectacular flavor perfectly compliment most any dish and make it ideal for everyday use.
Organic sunflower oil, nitrogen-flushed to maintain freshness.

I grew up in Lithuania on unrefined sunflower seed oil, smelling it everywhere: in fried garlick breads, pankaces, herring marines, beetroot and bean salads. from mom's kitchen to sunny sea resort streets.. I now live in Japan (favoring mild olive or sezamie oils) and all local sunflower oils I tried seemed too refined and tastless. Almost headed for chinese grocery market with some hope, but just challenged this flora organic product. Happy end - its quite smelly, yet soft and silky, with gentle bitterness (as it has to be for sunflower) .. exactly what I was so much craving for!
really really good
that is perfect

This oil has excellent taste and smell - strong enough to make your salad even more attractive, but not too strong to change the smell of other ingredients. I also loved the size of the bottle, because I use this oil only for salads, and no too often, so this amount can be easily used before it expires.
