Add 2/3 cup maple syrup powder to 1/3 cup boiling water. Stir until syrup powder is completely dissolved. To use the powder in place of syrup or maple flavor in baking recipes, combine 5 teaspoons powder and 2 teaspoons boiling water, stirring until dissolved. To make as syrup to use in a pinch for pancakes, use 3 teaspoons powder and 1/2 teaspoon boiling water to approximately 1/4 cup syrup. You can also add powder to hot drinks like cocoa and milk toddies.
Our Maple Syrup Powder is made of 100% pure, dehydrated maple syrup with no additives or preservatives.

Excellent Maple Syrup!!
Excellent Maple Syrup!!
A couple years ago, a bottle of 100% maple syrup went bad because it got mold in it, even though we kept it in the fridge! Since maple syrup is too precious to throw out like that, I was thrilled to find powder. Because it won't expire nearly as fast, we can keep extra in the pantry for a quick, unplanned pancake dinner - now we always have maple syrup on hand and ready to go! I will definitely be purchasing again!!
taste is ok, great for traveling when space and weight is an issue

I will bring this when going on vacation. Real maple syrup taste better. This is slightly inferior taste. And you don't seem to save much Money on this option either seeing that you need a lot of powder to reconstitute. But good for camping etc. Good in oatmeal

In a house of pancake addicts...

It's important to have a lot of maple syrup on hand. Unfortunately, maple syrup is expensive...almost like liquid gold. But, we've found that the powdered version serves our purposes well and helps us stretch our maple syrup budget further (and yes, we actually have to budget for maple syrup because we consume that much!)

Ths is very convenient but the taste isn't quite as maple syrup-like as I was hoping. The consistency was also not as great as fresh maple syrup. But very convenient and easy to make.
