I have been using this product to help with my sweet dog, Darla Angel. She was diagnosed in January 2013 with multiple internal Hemangiosarcoma tumors. Unfortunately, her fighting spirit and strength were overcome by the tumor near her heart at the end of June 2013. As sad as this tale ends, her Veterinarians told me that in their 27 years of practice, they have never, ever seen hemangiosarcoma tumors shrink!! They were complimenting me on how well of condition she was in and how long she had survived with so many tumors! I attribute this to a wheat free diet, Ark naturals Nu-Pet (for whole food supplements),Yunnan Baiyao and steriods (to control bleeding and inflammation) and TURKEY TAIL (to shrink the tumors)!! We opted not to use chemo drugs or surgery during her treatment.RIP Darla and TY for 10yrs n 9mos of love and smiles!! I am currently taking this for Stage IV Breast Cancer.I will update in a few months.

After researching other brands of turkey tail mushrooms I chose Paul Stamets Host Defense to give my dog. I like the research he put into his product.

The price of this Turkey Tail actually is very reasonable in the market, those selling in Hong Kong Drug Store with half less capsules cost over USD80. I am a stage 3C Breast cancer survivor and I have been taking Lingzhi or Turkey Tail since I found out I got Cancer, and it really helps. My advice is, for healthy ppl, take 2 capsules a day, but for cancer survivors, if you can afford, take 4 capsules a day is better and more beneficial to your health and keep the cancer away.

after all the vets gave me their condolences re: my 9 yr old dog's diagnosis, I did my own research. I found a study being conducted @ University of PA, using turkey tail mushroom derivative, w/ 'promising results' It's been 3 months now & my girl is doing very well. We have advice of a good Holistic vet also. every day is a gift.
