InterPlexus Inc., Seriphos, Phosphorylated Serine, 100 Capsules (Discontinued Item)
- Dietary Supplement
- Phosphorylated Serine
Phosphatidyl Serine when consumed in food, for example egg yolks, or in a capsule provides about 20% of active Phosphorylated Serine. Each 100 mg of Phosphatidyl Serine yields about 20 mg of active Phosphorylated Serine following consumption. The bulk of the weight is derived from two fatty acids.
In the intestinal tract, the various enzymes (brush border and pancreatic) clip off the fatty acids, predominantly the unsaturated fatty acids. These fatty acids are not reassembled in the body to the stump molecule, rather different fatty acids are attached by the body to replace RI and R2.

Great for anxiety
Great for anxiety
Seriphos seems to protect the brain from high levels of cortisol due to anxiety and stress. However, this form does not have the other phospholipids. To get those naturally, you can take an inositol supplement (inositol helps your body build those phospholipids needed for neurotransmitter health). This combo of Seriphos and inositol has been a lifesaver to me, allowing me to say goodbye to depression and anxiety during a very stressful time in my life.
Helps a lot

I also wrote and called interplexus about the restrictions statement and have not been contacted.

I have had no response for interplexus for clarification of the restrictions statement on their website. This does not appear on the bottle and it is unclear which medications and herbals might cause interference or side effects. They have not responded to these inquiries. This info needs to be clarified on iherbs website if they are selling the product. Perhaps iherb can get clarification. There also should be a warning on the bottle and there is none.

Didn't do anything for me. Have used it for 6 weeks now. 2 before dinner and 2 at bedtime. No change to my sleep pattern.
Just about life-saving if you're badly burned out

After huge stresses in one year (divorce, moving, an injury, and exposure to toxic fumes), I was waking up multiple times per night in a state of heart-pounding anxiety. Then it would take hours to calm down again, fall asleep for a while, and then I'd have another episode of night terrors. Got so I hated the very thought of my bed, even though I was desperate for sleep. I read about Seriphos and heightened night-time cortisol on the Mood Cure website. On the second day of taking it, I slept through the night for the first time in months. As long as I remember my after-dinner and before-bed doses, I can sleep properly now. Even if I forget and do have a middle-of-night awakening, it's just a nuisance, no longer terrifying. i've also noticed that my overall mood is more steadily optimistic and my stamina is better. Great stuff!

this gave me energy. I had to take in am or unable to sleep. I did not notice any relaxing effect or sleep miracles as I've read from other reviews. I have stopped taking for now, but will restart and try again. It definitely gave me energy and I was working out everyday while taking this. See my page for other reviews. Please click yes, if you found this review helpful. Thanks!
